As posted before.... are there any plans to tweak the alert settings so that it only alerts on certain price levels and or only on x amount of movement in price?

Its very nice and handy little app which keeps one updated on the price movements but it does get a bit annoying when it pops up a balloon on every little change in price. Would be nice to only be alerted on say every $1 or $5 movement or only on certain levels.

This is definitely a neat little app for Windows users who are into Bitcoin. and BTW, what do you not like about GitHub? I have never heard of Codex and Git is the most popular source control system out there. Other developers you may work with in a team may all insist on using Git. Don't like it? Find another job and forfeit your pay.
Just to correct you: Codeplex uses Git too. The deifference is the UI

I wish there would be such an application for Mac OSX, too. I was searching for such an app some time ago for Mac. There are few code bases on github but they do not the job very well :/

Nice app.

I like the price change notifications but what about the possibility to maybe set an upper and lower level for this alert. Currently it notifies on every change in price so for every tick in the price you get the notification which can get annoying.

Would be nice if one could set it so it only notifies you once the upper or lower limit has been breached.

Lol , I was planning to build sort of the same thing and on C# as well , anyway good job I will take a look at the source code . Also do you mind sharing this on Github ? It would be better . People don't really use Codeplex .
I don't like GitHub. If I can I always use other services than the other people use

Hi.
BitcoinStats is a program for Windows to view Bitcoin price, and Address Stats.
This is the first Beta release, new features are welcome.

Download and Source Code is available at: http://bitcoinstats.codeplex.com/

Source is written in C# and needs a reference to DynamicJson.dll (included in the ZIP)

The app currently can: Show the Bitcoin price in 5 currencies
Send notifications about the price every minute
Minimize to the taskbar, and then send notifications.

You will need Administrator rights, so the app can write the config to your C: drive.

If you made changes to the code, and would like to see it in the release, please consider making a pull request at Codeplex.
