Thanks for all the bumps guys. Things are looking up.
Using 15ccW7m6RxDFWEKc3P1NdwWpX1N1pU7gZ8 (the address in kazu's sig), sign a message to the effect of "Username 'theonewhowaskazu' at bitcointalk.org owns the account 'kazu' as of (date)" and PM that to theymos. He should be able to assist you from there.

Quote
>> signmessage("15ccW7m6RxDFWEKc3P1NdwWpX1N1pU7gZ8", "Username 'theonewhowaskazu' at bitcointalk.org owns the account 'kazu' as of 9/30/2013")
"G0iSkeLVByJ0RszmxurZsX+ztblK4tCSh8kafkoTpNxLuOyHK+U49VtKaD8aMUYJb4Wv2mQ39pE0dthVykoVpt8="

Thank you so much for helping. Should this do it?

Thanks,
Alex
That should be enough to at least get this process started. CC'ing theymos on this so that it can be looked into.

Sent a PM. Hopefully this can get resolved. I wonder how my home IP address got banned because of the PMs, that doesn't make any sense. Does the auto-ban bot just ban all ips currently logged on as that user at the time the spam was sent?
that's a real bummer. they probably just ban all ips associated with the account. unfortunately, from what i have seen, they do not seem all that concerned about restoring banned accounts. sorry, man!!  Undecided

Oh shit, when I first logged in onto this new account I saw banned for spamming as well. Not a good sign. What was the spam message? I was locked out of my account like half an hour ago and it still shows me as being online. Also I'm seeing the last posting from your IP was made within 360 seconds even though I'm the only person with access to this proxy. Shit. Now I'm paranoid about my Bitcoins.

EDIT: Who do you think I should contact?

It's really strange because I do not see the message in my inbox, and I did not deleted it....
Hmmmm. I don't remember exactly, but there was a link inside, and it was like an advertisement for some website.

But the link seemed fishy.

You should PM theymos which seems online : https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/theymos-35

That's why I received a spam pm from you.
Maybe you can try to contact the staff / mods in order to see if they can give you your account back.

Hi, I'm kazu. Only somehow my account got hacked because password reset emails aren't coming and my password got mysteriously changed  Cry and I can't access my account. I'd appreciate it if somebody locked that account or something ASAP so nothing douchebaggy can happen. Also It would be nice if eventually my email could be restored to its correct value (the same email attached to this account).

Thanks,
Kazu
