Thank you for your interest in sponsoring this community event. Since you have made your offer publicly here, I will pursue it here.
1.) Do you want any branding on the tables and/or thread (which I will be making)?
Yes, if it is possible and if it does not require additional costs on our part.
There are two points which I would like to discuss specifically regarding branding.
1.) No, branding will not cost you extra money if you agree to my proposition of giving $30 to 1st place and at least $10 to each other participant in your token. To be clear, it will cost you around $30 + $100 = $130 (you can calculate the amount in your token). If you look at our previous events:
i. BetFury: Bitcointalk Special Heads-Up Poker Championship 2025, and
ii. R7 Promotions: Bitcointalk Bounty Hunter Poker Tournament 1
This is a good deal for you as you are getting almost a $70 discount. Previous sponsors paid us $200 for branding.

2.) For $130, you will get not only a dedicated thread mentioning you as our official partner, where you can advertise and explain about your token, but you will also get a dedicated YouTube video where your branding will be displayed. You can check out more at https://www.youtube.com/@bitcointalkpoker. Additionally, players will share screenshots discussing their play, which will boost your token's popularity further. Check this for example.

Please provide me with your logo and banner so that I can create the table design and topic. If you are interested, let me know before February 14th. If we get another sponsor before you that suits us better, we may decline your offer.

You don't need to pay $130 if you don't want branding. You can distribute any amount however you wish without being our official sponsor, but in that case, there will be no mention of your token anywhere except at the time of prize distribution (single post).

1.) Do you want any branding on the tables and/or thread (which I will be making)?
Yes, if it is possible and if it does not require additional costs on our part.

2.) You are giving $27 (let's make it $30 Grin) to the 1st place winner. How much will be the consolation prize for each participant?  I mean, if you are deciding positively on branding, I might suggest giving back the buy-in amount after the tournament in your preferred token. We can have a rule of making a TON address before the tournament.
A. The thing is that the token price can fluctuate and it is very difficult to make it equal to 30 dollars. It is easier to count in Chamby tokens. Moreover, it is a nice figure.
B. Consolation prizes will be small and they will have value only after some time, when the token price grows. This amount is comparable to the cost of the commission.
C. I did not understand your proposal about the buy-in. It would be easier for us if you obliged everyone to create a TON address before the tournament and publish the results after the tournament. We would send 500 million to the winner, and introductory amounts to the rest. However, we can send 500,000,000 to your address, and you distribute it yourself. We can send out introductory amounts ourselves. The main thing is that everyone must generate a public TON address.

No, not at all. As per their sponsorship proposal, there will be a consolation prize for each participant. I have already suggested returning the buy-in amount in terms of consolation prizes and waiting for their response (hopefully positive Cheesy).
Oh I see then thats a good if theres a good response. I think you could make it a GO. I know you can, you are truly an organized person.

Reducing buy-in further will only result in less interest among serious players.
Oh I see, yeah I think its fine the buy in is not so much but its always good to have a free entrance anyway.

I am proposing a new event in the continuation, ''Bitcointalk Bounty Hunter Poker Tournament 2'.The proposed date and time of the event is 5:00 PM UTC,  16/02/2025. I want you to give your suggestions based on the previous events so that we can improve and make this even better. Please post your suggestions/feedback/opinions/complaints with reference to the following points (or any other point you are thinking of).

Would this be just one day tournament, or several days? Anyway, i would be interested to join this time.
During last game, private life obligations came first, and i had to be in alert and ready to go for several days. So i couldn't commit to any specific time, without fear of failing that.

During that day you mentioned, i have lots of free time.

So the sponsored or that giveaway will be added in the pool and only allocate for 1st winner?

Or what if subsidize for the buy in for participants to make it lower since its token of appreciation.
Reducing buy-in further will only result in less interest among serious players. This is a BitcoinTalk special event anyway, so I am focused more on the quality of participants rather than quantity. My vision is to create a community of poker players who can play regularly in the best possible environment with no rake.

So the sponsored or that giveaway will be added in the pool and only allocate for 1st winner? Maybe better to segregate it to 1st to 3rd place like 15 10 5 something like this. If we focus heavily on 1st place, at least we give to other placers too. Or what if subsidize for the buy in for participants to make it lower since its token of appreciation.

I can offer approximately 500,000,000 Chamby tokens as a reward to the participant who wins the tournament. I can also organize consolation prizes for the rest of the participants. Chamby is a token on the TON cryptocurrency blockchain. It is a decentralized token made by participants of the Russian Bitcointalk locale.

500,000,000 tokens are currently in the main liquidity pool, which is approximately 27 USDT. The token is constantly growing and, perhaps, in the future it will be a much more significant amount. You can see the Chamby – USDT liquidity wheel here:

https://dedust.io/swap/EQBajWYb-dNy0skElmij1onJjXk_ONCx_N1xBOyTaPaRvQ5r/USDT?amount=500000000000000000
However, if the organizers agree to accept this token as a reward for the winner, then you need to generate a TON address in advance. To do this, you need to download and install one of the TON wallets:

=-1] https://ton.org/en/wallets?locale=en&pagination[limit]=-1
Please, if the organizers agree to these terms, write to me in private messages or here in the topic and I will reserve the rewards for you. It would also be nice if all tournament participants generated a TON address in advance in case of winning Chamby tokens. You will either win the main prize or receive a consolation prize.

I want to thank you once again for considering sponsorship for this community event.

Trying to follow you here, I signed up for 1win now and I would play further tournaments when you organize them.
I saw the hand discussion and I thought about discussing hands that I played. Can I do it?

Please do. That is the whole purpose of that thread (Poker strategy one). I saw you were sitting out in today's tournament for a long time (which is against the spirit of the game), which led to your disqualification. We will also have a rule similar to this in our tournament  (bounty hunter) so please try not to repeat it. I mean,  You cant sit out and wait for the ladder when only 14 players are playing and the top 1o will get prizes.

@cryptoaddictchie @len01, memehunter asked for the buy in amount. It would be helpful if you expressed your opinion up to which buy in limit you would be willing to play with us. We want to find out what the buy in range is here for most people so we can target the tournaments to the possibly largest set of interested people.
If this tournament is aimed at reaching many participants, it would be fairer if the buy-in is $10 or below. In this way, we can attract many participants and increase interest in this tournament. If we already have many participants, we can agree to gradually increase the buy in amount. For example, the third tournament $10, the fourth tournament $15, and so on.

Yes this is an easy communication if theres such cancel schedule or any flash info regarding the tournament.

I think same as the first one would be good. $10 worth of crypto asset is quite normal, considering were just having fun od playing poker. I think $30 and above is too much I guess, maybe for expert in gambling they can waive it as they knew they have a prettt chance to win but for me. Im just joining cause I like playing poker. Like our match before. Hehe

Wow another event, youre so active OP on organizing poker tournament, good thing you havent get tired on this. Its hard to find time that clicks to a lot of users.

5.) Would you be interested in joining a dedicated telegram group for these events? It will make things much easier for all.
I think having a chat based group is helpful, sometimes we dont know if the response here would arrived quickly but if inside a TG notifications would be quite fast for important inquiry.

I see you made a slight adjustment to the time, which I think is good to see whether some others may consider joining then. We need to be experimenting around here and there and see what most people like.
Exactly my thought.

I personally love knock out tournaments
Yeah, last time, you guarded your head quite well as well as chopped many  Cheesy. Btw how does it feel to win every single event?

Haha well time will come I am not running as good. Last tourney was all about patience as my hands did not connect either with the board or with the opponents for so long.  But then no comment needed, my streak was insane.

I was thinking about a 6-way sit‘n go this Sunday with $30 buy-in.  Wanna try and see whether some other are interested? But I‘d only be available at 6PM UTC.

Added you to the list. I will PM you before the tournament no worries.

As for the last tournament, I didnt even realized that you guys were playing lol. I thought someone would PM me when it was officially launched but yeah Im not aware of it.
I usually try not to tag/message unnecessarily. I apologize for not PMing you, this time I will make sure that you do not miss it Wink.

Should have make a vote on top on this thread
Good idea, I will keep that in mind for future discussion topics.

staying in $10 to keep people interested might be a better choice

If we can run two poker tournaments a month then one bounty hunter and one regular tournament would be great

50% is standard imo,

Acknowledged.

Wink I see you made a slight adjustment to the time, which I think is good to see whether some others may consider joining then. We need to be experimenting around here and there and see what most people like. That is why it is good you put out that list for suggestions.

I hope for some more participation in this one. I personally love knock out tournaments, but as you know I'll play any format with you guys. So ignore my opinion and rather listen to the others and let's see what their favorite format is. I'll go with anything they suggest.

1.) Buy-in: Previously, some people wanted higher buy-ins, but the majority seemed OK with $10. What are your thoughts now about the buy-in? Do you think we can go slightly higher since we will be playing only two

Should have make a vote on top on this thread. I personally think that most people that join the poker tournament is losing money so staying in $10 to keep people interested might be a better choice

2.) Nature of the tournament: Do you like to play more bounty hunters, or are you more interested in normal tournaments with no bounty? Last time I decided the nature without consulting the community, so please tell me

If we can run two poker tournaments a month then one bounty hunter and one regular tournament would be great

3.) How much should the bounty be? In the previous event, I was able to put a bounty of 100% of the buy-in because of the sponsors. Originally it was decided to be 50% of the buy-in, but if we are going for higher buy-ins,
25% would make more sense. What do you think?

50% is standard imo, I'd love for it to stay this way considering that only around 10 people joined on the last one

Bitcointalk Bounty Hunter Poker Tournament 2

 Discussion thread

We are looking for sponsors, if you want to promote your brand through these community events PM me.
.

After the successful conduction of,

1. BetFury: Bitcointalk Special Heads-Up Poker Championship 2025, and
2. R7 Promotions: Bitcointalk Bounty Hunter Poker Tournament 1.

1.) Buy-in: Previously, some people wanted higher buy-ins, but the majority seemed OK with $10. What are your thoughts now about the buy-in? Do you think we can go slightly higher since we will be playing only two
tournaments in a month at max? We are glad that our sponsors took care of the prize money (that is why I was able to reduce the buy-in as per the request of some members) but that might not be the case every time
So a higher buy-in ($20-$30) is making sense to me. I mean, if we strike a deal with sponsors, it will be the cherry on the top anyway.

2.) Nature of the tournament: Do you like to play more bounty hunters, or are you more interested in normal tournaments with no bounty? Last time I decided the nature without consulting the community, so please tell me
what you prefer. IMO bounties create more interest and more fun, especially when people are putting extra money before the tournament on someone's head. It creates a whole new dynamic. I know the title of this
thread already gives you a hint about my opinion Cheesy.

3.) How much should the bounty be? In the previous event, I was able to put a bounty of 100% of the buy-in because of the sponsors. Originally it was decided to be 50% of the buy-in, but if we are going for higher buy-ins,
25% would make more sense. What do you think?

4.) One wise member is suggesting that we could have some  Card decks (collectibles) for the winners having the branding of the event and sponsors (if any). What do you think about this? I mean you have to
provide your address for shipping and customs might create some additional costs/complications. I am thinking of custom-made bracelets, but the same issue is there. We can reserve this idea for some higher buy-in
tournaments in the future like $100 or above.

5.) Would you be interested in joining a dedicated telegram group for these events? It will make things much easier for all.

6.) If anything else is on your mind, feel free to comment. I will be all ears.

7.) It would be better if you could post your interest (if you want to play) beforehand so that I can remind you before the tournament, as a lot of players missed the last event. I will be sponsoring two players like before
from the list of interested players.

Let's make this event a success  Cool
