The forum, while stable, drags like a dying horse on my end. (size=3pt)didn't realise this was a pun until I finished writing it out(/size)

Either that, or Cloudflare is making the site difficult to use.

(With due apologies for beating a dead horse.)

Stop horsing around Tongue

But lately, the forum has been such a rough ride!  (And wouldn’t I know it.)

DDoS attacks are causing a real-life night mare.  Cloudflare is causing problems for legitimate users, without actually doing its job; replacing them would just be good horse sense.

Change your internet connection and stop using your neighbor's wifi or free wifi on shops or malls, it is very slow to load the forum with your phone or PC and it will time to reload. Get your own net.

Seems like the site is yet again experiencing a DDOS attack. Difficulties accessing the site are to be expected - not much you can do here. The forum, while stable, drags like a dying horse on my end. didn't realise this was a pun until I finished writing it out

If it's not that (e.g. user / account related access), then provide more information since "user can't access to bitcoin forum" isn't exactly helpful in pinpointing account issues.
You probably guessed it right. They might be unable to open the website due to sever connectivity issues as the Ddos continues to overload the server.I'm surprised cloudflaire isn't helping much. Not sure if theymos is using a Load balancer.Forum still loads very slow for me and takes a few seconds to open threads with substantial amount of content.

It is slow here in Europe for sure - over 30 secs to load a thread... The worst part is posting or editing.

Any idea who is attacking the forum and for what puprose?

Is it country specific? I'm on a variety of public WiFi services, and I use cell phone tethering, and I don't seem to suffer from any major delays, and I would have expected that if there were any problems, they would be magnified for me.

I don't know if you mean that you have to wait too much to get the page loaded since you wrote this topic then yeah i am experiencing the same situation sometimes. I think many people were connecting at the same time, even switching between 2 different isp didn't come with any result..
Yes, this is what I have experience also now, it takes 10-15 seconds before I loaded the next page even my internet was good in connection.
No doubt the forum now experienced DDOS attack as what "mrep" said. But I don't have any problem those loading pages as long as I have an internet connection. I also wonder why it happens now that loading pages.?

Better for you if you try to check your internet connection first or other technical aspects because that maybe the problem. Honestly, accessing this forum through a browser runs smoothly (aside from clouflare interruption of few seconds) because that's what I'm using right now.
