You need to configure AWC yourself. But its a very good webhosting service. I work with it every day.

You've got to be kidding me right. You're asking us if it would be better to host on servers provided by Amazon, a company which has it's HQ in Seattle; a company that was founded in Washington?

I think you should move this kind of questions in the Meta section (you can move your thread yourself).
Not only because Meta is the more appropriate section, but also because you'll have better chances to get answers from interested people.

I for one hope this never happens again. But there're still some unanswered questions. For example, has solution been sorted to verified who requests for recover information next time? And will hosting solutions such as Amazone EC2 be used to somewhat solidify security?
