I think when the new rule start, the forum need an auto system to control comments. The manager team need to build standard rules. Maybe posts with less than 75 characters will not be deleted. So AI will follow the rules. It makes our forum better and easy control. What do you think about that? What is your solution?

I don't need an AI to determine that your one-liners are utter shit, even if they exceed 75 characters. Please do us a favor and don't wander outside of Bounties.

I agree with you. The forum needs to be automated. With the rate of new users coming into the forum daily, don't think the traditional feature can keep up. The forum is just been manually handle and it looks so unprofessional and even looking centralized (to me when topic discussed here are bases on decentralized currency).

I gave my suggestion earlier on on this issue.
The below suggestion came to me as I was scrolling through an ico telegram group then noticed, if your comment has the bounty or airdrop word in them, they get deleted automatically. So i thought if the anti-spam method used by other forum and social site can be introduced into this forum it will help in the fight against Spam. E.g for every topic or body of topic that's contains the word "merit", the system automatically detect it as a spam and it goes under moderation to be approved by moderators of forum.
The method can also be used for other spam relates topics like "bitcoin vs gold" and the rest.

What's your opinion on this?.

Edited: These idea can also be used for other purposes too like instead of manual moving of post from one thread to another it can be done automatically by system. This user gets the idea
I suggested in other topic that the words related to altcoins such as "ethereum" or "bcash" etc should be automatically moved to the altcoin board
Yeah you are thinking like me. When i post this topic, i mean AI bot is a support tool, not mean we do not do anything. Members should post polite words. Mod and admin is checker after bot checking. Maybe they should build this forum based on the blockchain technology. Because this is a cryto forum.

Nay. An AI would make another Reddit. What we need is a APP available on AppStore. Can’t keep waiting for my browser to turn up before logging into my account.

The forum is getting better daily with open ended suggestions and usecase. An increase in number of newbies comes from people who may have lost so much during the bull run and want to learn more about bitcoins.

Newbies have already identified that you'll likely get more merit if you are the op of the post, and this is exactly the reason why the forum has been subject to mass openings of new threads since the introduction of the merit requirement for jr members.

You don’t need to be very bright to realize that, the same way as in other forums you are more likely to get “thanks” or “likes” if you open a post, even though there is no money involved.

They should also realize that it can be counterproductive, because depending on what you ask and how you express yourself, you can also get in some people ignore list, like OP in mine. With all the recent newbie spamfest, I think I’ll end up with a large ignore list, similar to Jet Cash’ one.

Nah - the forum needs "H.I." - Human intelligence. Just people that post because they want to communicate intelligently with other human beings. Without meeting signature quotas and without regurgitating things that have been said hundreds of times before. To get rid of the shit-posters .... and they are working on it.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of this going around. I think we'll see a great decline on the bounty spam, but we'll still see posts like this where people are posting topics in an attempt to get merit. Newbies have already identified that you'll likely get more merit if you are the op of the post, and this is exactly the reason why the forum has been subject to mass openings of new threads since the introduction of the merit requirement for jr members.

An AI doesn't needed and imagine a post with less than 75 characters will not be deleted yet it doesn't add on the topic and that AI should be train on grammar and accordance on the topic too if the post is meet. AI is not needed if the human who posts it know what he does.

The quality posts doesn't determined through number of characters it only can be determined by the thread they are replying if we make that 75 characters as standard for quality posts then it wil be just easy for the bounty hunters to meet those standards, already the reporting badges under process by the admin so we can see much posts will get deleted once those new system got implemented that will make more spam free.

AI has become buzzword and people think AI would solve anything, while in fact AI/ML need to be trained with lots of accurate data and lots of computational resources. Besides, detect and delete post with less than 75 characters only require simple programming logic such as if (this.length < 75) this.delete Tongue
Besides, there's weak correlation between character length and post quality.

What this forum need are less signature features for lower ranked member, higher merit requirement, forbid all bounty campaign or remove signature.

And also more mods. (36 characters.)

I have previous experience setting up forum and you can create rules like what you said less 50words per comment will not posted or you won't be able post with certain derogatory, malicious and racist words but I think that it will be hard for forum like this to implement that. Why? A quality comment doesn't really need a more 50words and we're all adult here so I don't think we need to filter words.
