your proposal is unnecessary.

Being in the position of a project (KOVRITA.IO) which seeks new exchange partnerships, it is difficult to keep track of recently launched exchanges on existing forums.

This is your ANN Thread:  KOVRITA.IO - Decentralized Hedged Stablecoins & Wallet Project

right?

Your thread was created on July 31, 2019, 05:12:33 PM. It has only 1 page and has only 3 comments. Yes that really is something to consider a total failure, people are not paying attention to your project. I believe this is your reason for creating this thread: " BitcoinTalk New Exchange Announcements sub-forum proposal ".

Let's look at why people aren't interested in your project:

1-) Your ANN Thread is underworked, it doesn't have a good designer

2-) your project is not a big innovation, people are already tired of shitcoins, people are tired of holding shitcoins that only generate losses

3-) Your project Lacks very important data:

- you didn't show who are the team members

- you didn't show your company headquarters (if you have a physical office? then it would be wise for you to show this physical office)

I will make one more note about your project, I speak of your site, look at this " https://kovrita.io/#about "

you put a lot of things on your site so that get tired of reading all things. why don't you put it in a white paper or document? so that everything is more organized on your site

My conclusion:

No need to create "Exchange Announcements" ... you just need to create a creative ANN thread and post relevant details about your project, never forgetting to post faces of team members and physical location of your company. People want serious and honest projects.

No, I don't such sub forum is needed. There is simply not enough demand for it. New exchange opens - it's something what don't happens every day and dedicated sub forum for it isn't much needed. But I partially agree with your point, it can be difficult to find new exchange. From what I see, various exchange ANN threads are posted in multiple places of this forum - in Altcoin board Service Discussion or Service Announcements, Bitcoin board Service Announcements and Discussion, thissub forum Exchanges. But it's not that difficult to browse these boards to find newly announced exchanges.

New sub forums are created when there's masses of demand and it usually takes an awful lot of persuasion before the forum operators agree to it. The demand for an exchange announcement section does not exist other than in the mind of those who want to make announcements.

I don't think there's a need for dedicated boards. Exchanges board activity aren't that big and you can simply post your ANN thread here. On top of that, it's not like 100 exchanges are gonna born every week so skimming for 10 pages in this board will probably give you what you're looking for.

If what you're looking (you're doing) is an exchange with their own native token, you probably find better luck on Announcements/Tokens (Altcoins) board. Even though that board is bombarded with spam.

If you want better exposure, you can buy an ad-slot which redirect the user to your thread, instead of posting a thread in a board with low activity or a board with too many spam.

Do you think that new subforum creation with the title something like "Exchange Announcements" will be of interest to the general public as well?
