Since only a few Turkish members here are answering in your thread I think it would be better if you created this thread in the Turkish local board to see if you have a similar situation to other members. Kalemder and iasenko gave you two different answers so maybe having some other voices in the Turkish board could help clear more things out. But judging how I see things I think that BCT is IP blocked by your country since you are using a proxy right now to access the website it only tells that BCT is somehow restricted in your country

Yes, may be it would be better, but I already created on this board, and I think question of IP blocking is related to the forum itself, not to a local subforum.
Also I think answers cleared out situation. And there are particular suggestions how to overcome this.

First of all, welcome to Turkey : )

Turkey currently does not ban access to forum. No access issues. There is probably a problem where you are connected. There are exceptions at several internet providers (kablonet, ttnet). A vast Turkish community connects every day without problems. Last year, we had access problems for a short time but it improved. There is also no legal issue or restriction regarding Bitcoin. In fact, Turkey is a paradise for crypto currencies. Because there is no legal regulation, yet.

Thanks. Are you by chance going tomorrow to Blockchain economy conference in Istambul?

I tried more locations in different regions and site didn't load.

Thanks for everyone, now I see this question was already raised.

I think to change DNS for many users is not easier than just use VPN, proxy or Tor.

I was just surprised that particularly Bitcointalk has problems of loading here..

Yes, bitcontalk.org is under censorship in Turkey, as well as other crypto related (and maybe not only crypto) websites. Here is a thread I remember I read some time ago regarding the same issue.
 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalkorg-inaccessible-from-turkey-5189441
So the best solution is to use a VPN or another DNS server. Luckily you are just for a short time there, enjoy the Turkish food tho.

Taka a look the thread I posted above and let me know if it was true then.

Yes as other users pointed out it's a Turkish Telekom DNS censorship issue.
The fastest way to access BTT in Turkei would be to just switch to any reputable non Turkish DNS server.

As we can see all official announcement from Turkish authorities same.
Turkish member asked several times all related departments about ban.

Just change your DNS if you will stay in Turkey. No need to VPN access.
We usually use Open DNS, but you can find a good one if you don't want to use it.

As long as it works with a VPN and you are in Turkey only for a few days, I guess you should be fine.

Yes, I'm completely fine. I'm not worrying about myself) Anyway I can live few days without reading forum)
It's just I wanted to know as I tried to access site from several locations

There is no real restriction about that. We asked this issue to highest places in our government already and they answered there is nothing about our side.
We are reaching to Bitcointalk with just changing DNS. No need to VPN.

here is the one of Turkish member of forum appeal about restriction to Turkish authorities;

Konuyu hepimiz biliyoruz diye tahmin ediyorum.

and the answer;

Summary; It is written that there is not restriction from our side about this website.

It's definitely possible though quite unlikely that Bitcointalk is blocked. Are other bitcoin-related sites blocked too?

Also, probably use Tor instead. Bitcointalk works really well with Tor anyway.

Lastly, use this to bypass captchas: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/captcha-bypass-5042674

I just tried several Bitcoin-related websites, (bitcointalk.org included) with a Turkish VPN connection. All worked fine for me. I guess it must be some other issue with your phone/computer then or at least not all connections are blocked.

Other bitcoin related sites which I accessed worked fine
I might use Tor, but right now on Chrome with proxy it works fine.
Anyway I'm here only for few days.
But I just wanted to see if this is the case of blocking or may be only some providers blocked (or may be I'm just unlucky)

Interesting, because there is a quite big Turkish community here in the forum and quite active, never heard of blocking the forum before.
What is the error you got? Cloudflare issues?
If you use mobile, the easiest way to go around the block it you use Opera, with it's integrated free VPN.

Just site not loading, empty page
I use Brave browser, but I also tried it on Firefox and Chrome (now I use Chrome with some VPN extension)
And thanks for advice about Opera!

Hi Bitcointalk community,

I'm in Turkey now (went to Blockchain economy conference) and many times from different IPs (from hotel, from one cafe, another) I wasn't able to access the forum.
I'm using proxy now, but I'm wondering can it be that Bitcointalk is blocked here?
If yes that's very strange
Obviously I didn't have chance to try multiple internet spots, but several I tried and it wasn't working, while I didn't notice problems with other sites
