Taking BTC it's a bold statement. I agree.

But Bitcoin proved it's a bad coin, not made for the long run.

Therefore, a new king must raise so the previous one to drop. And that's Stellar Lumens XLM.

Stable coin to make charity free for everyone
Nice shilling gig there, but if you are going to risk your bitcointalk account, do it with a Legendary account, nobody cares if someone risks their "Newbie" account on a bet. So if you want some credibility, step up your game and do it with a valuable account.

Stellar is an interesting project but there's 0 chances that it becomes #1 coin taking Bitcoin's spot. PoW is still the best way to secure an history of transaction in a decentralized way inside a hostile world.
I agree Stellar is a good project however overtaking BTC will be a theory for now and it seems it can go to the top 30 or maybe top 15 coins in the future.

Invest in your knowledge
It's amazing how the BTT community is becomming maniuplated by the worst and second worst scams ever created.

Not surprised with all these puppet accounts, pretty easy to pay for when you generate millions of USD in seconds.

It is very unrealistic to say that Stellar will overtake Bitcoin in the next 2 years. It take more than what you have mentioned for Stellar to overtake Bitcoin.

If you are like me and missed the train for Bitcoin, don't get discouraged, because the game has just BEGUN! BTC not only showed but PROVED that it's not a capable coin for a long-term game. This brought me tons of confidence for the altcoins and in the last couple of days I was making a ton of research for the next - probably - big winner. NOW it's the BEST time to invest! .... But not in BTC.

- RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH -

When you invest in an altcoin research and find out what are they really doing? Look who the founders are, look how much funding they have and look at what they really try to build if they can build it.

COfounder:
Jed Mccaleb it's the COfounder of Stellar. A little bit of history about him:
He created one of the first file-sharing systems called E-donkey, became one of the biggest in the world.
He then created Mt.Gox - Mt. Gox was one of the first bitcoin exchanges based in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan and became the largest then sold to a guy who ran it to the ground.
He then was a founder of RIPPLE which is now in top 5 largest COINS. Then forked ripple to create Stellar and then they rewrote the consensus algorithm.
This guy's a winner. A winner!

Won't even talk the fact that he went to Harvard, has a PH.D in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It's a professor for 13 years

Transaction Speed:

Stellar it's currently the fastest coin out there with a record of a 0.1 sec per transaction up to 11 seconds!

Transactions/day:
https://i.imgur.com/Q9WHvuH.jpg
there are approximately 30.000 transactions per day reaching a peak of 50.000.

Transaction cost:
Right now, it's virtually almost 0. More exactly, 0.00001$ The cost is there to prevent flood and spam.

IBM and Stellar:
https://www.coindesk.com/ibms-stellar-mo...ents-rail/

- Stellar made a deal with IBM, what IBM it's doing it's they are using the hyper ledger blockchain platform which its Linux, Linux has come into the blockchain game and IBM is using that for contracts and when contracts are completed, they are using, you guessed it, the Stellar network to send payments! Stellar it's on IBM'S PLAN TO facilitate international payments. This is HUGE, if you don't understand how valuable this is...

-IBM just announced that they'll make an exchange website to buy STELLAR LUMENS for FIAT. Now, this is a great new addition for 2018. The website will be called https://www.fairx.io

Quote:
Yea Stellar has the most potential. Palmbeach Confidential has been referring to this coin non-stop. Stellar is solving the problem of cross-border payments. On average, cross-border transactions can cost as much as 8–9% of the transaction amount. And they can be slow. Stellar is building a global network of partners to facilitate cross-border payments at a fraction of the cost and in a fraction of the time. And it continues to add new partners all the time.
