I just hope this one really helps them on knowing the basics of this forum because if not then I don't know what would be the cure for their ignorance anymore.
I think this is the last step to warn them. And then ban would be the cure for their ignorance.

I admire your idea OP to make a thread about the sticky threads that all newbie must read before posting in that section. This is really helpful and hopefully admin can see this an example that a single post containing all relevant threads that will help newbie to visit every time they will make a query on the forum. This thread can put to a really good use. Anyway,   in other discussions talking about forum activity that has been minimized seems like not really good for me that the forum got low activity. Hopefully more crypto users will going to notice the forum and join for them to learn more about cryptocurrency and this posts will be good for them to learn before posting in the forum like a welcome message and this one.

This is a huge thread and I think this must be needed to give attention to the other members especially the reason why the newbie is always asking for help what are the things they need to know also to lessen the hassle of the other members who are always... and always repeated to give this thread or link to the other members.

I would like to give you merit but I don't have any more right now but still thumbs up for you OP.

At least if newbies are conversant with these sticky threads, there will be a reduction of ban appeals and other ill-mannerism on the forum too as well.
On that note, Most newbies like myself tend to have a hard time looking at those topics let alone reading them.
Most of them are simply here to make money from the bounties posted in the bounty section daily whilst others are here learn but cannot do that without the full knowledge of the rules and regulations governing this forum. So I greatly appreciate your effort and time to make this post and I hope other newbies like myself will have a lot to learn from this thread

What a nice thread, it should be helpful for not only newbies or lower ranks but for every member, including high rank as well. I bet not all high ranks know about this if you didn't collect the information above. Some of us are still far from reading habit, instead instantly asking without using the "search feature" or find it ourselves.

Friend, I have a small suggestion.
I think Mining (Altcoins) and Marketplace (Altcoins) are no need to be separated from mining and Marketplace. Why don't you just put them into subheading? I think it can be a more tidy and better look.  Smiley

Damn this is the kind of post you throw merit for the effort  of a user. Drop 1 for you OP!

I just hope it persists much on the front page and it's click bait enough for new users to run through.
No problem as long as OP will keep this thread updated it will be bump and noticed on this section. For a low rank, this is good start and a very well created index.

I do hope OP you would continue to update this thread and add more useful threads. There are still good post missing but I will let you searched those and add it. Spending time also on search function is a good practice to see the redundant topic and the appropriate post to list here.

Actually, creating a thread and jotting down the list of all pinned posts in the forum is not necessary. Why? Simply because they can be found easily on its respective boards. However, I still appreciate this initiative of yours OP. I agree on them, props for the efforst of compiling all the links. This one could really help the newbies out there since we all know that huge portion of them are either shrugging it off and jump to their agenda (campaigns of course) right away or simply hardheaded Grin.

I just hope this one really helps them on knowing the basics of this forum because if not then I don't know what would be the cure for their ignorance anymore.

Let us include the most important rules of the forum:
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
Its already included in the list. Please check topic number 2 on Meta and topic no 5 on Announcements (Altcoins).

- Don't bold all things like what you did, keep topic titles, author names as normal, not bold them.
Thanks for your suggestion. It takes a long time to fix it. But I'm a little busy now. Next time i will definitely follow your advice.

You carefully noted and thought it through to create this thread. With the persistaint complaint on ban and report to moderators I encountered since yesterday, this thread probably is sure to ring a bell for new users and It's quite a useful one at that. I look forward to referencing and recommending it when due.
I just hope it persists much on the front page and it's click bait enough for new users to run through. Cure your ignorance.

You spent time to make the helpful compilation and I am thankful to your efforts.

Only small contribution to improve your topic
- Create table of contents
- Use anchor for each board
- Don't bold all things like what you did, keep topic titles, author names as normal, not bold them.

Wow, thank you for your effort and time creating this thread, it will help every beginner of the forum to have a good experience working on it. It will help them to know the right and wrong things to do for every section of the forum. There are many newly created account that is being banned because of not reading or following the rules. I am hoping that this will help them read the rules of every section because it is already listed here, they don't need to scroll and find it one by one.

Let us include the most important rules of the forum:
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

Reading the rules of fthe orum is something we can say as reading the instruction of a test questionnaire in real life, both things are really important and should be the first thing we should do first.

Wow,  you spent a lot of time creating this thread and I pretty think it helpful at some point in time for newbies but I'm scared because mostly new registrants ignore to read these pinned/sticky posts. I think the better way to help this situation is to bump this thread biweekly so as to meet up newbies coming in a regular basis.
At least if newbies are conversant with these sticky threads, there will be a reduction of ban appeals and other ill-mannerism on the forum too as well.

Every day new members are joining Bitcointalk.org. Some of them are really new, some are opening alt account. Many of the newbies do not know the rules of the forum, some know but do not follow. As a result, their account is easily banned. After joining the forum, one  is being active on the board of their choice. Each board has some rules that are sticky at the beginning of the board. I have tried to bring those sticky threads of all the boards in one page. These are not just sticky threads, these are the rules of the forum. This will allow newbies to learn the rules of Bitcointalk before starting on their journey.
