The website is an obvious scam. With that kind of Website template, favicon logo, borrowed images, plus made out reviews you must not have fall for their tricks. Even if you just tried to test it out on their lowest rank available which is the Sr. Member you have just wasted 50$ just for confirming if their business is fake or real. But if you have really transacted with them what accounts are they offering specifically? Did they send you names or the uids of the account. Because one of the common red flags out there is pay first before they even show a product.

Great answers. I was considering buying the account myself, and the site looked very skeptical. All you guys have great advises on this case, considering at bitcoinaccounts.com, you would have to pay in BTC that is worth over a hundred dollars on which you may get scammed and lose money.
Why would you want to buy an account in the first place ? You do know right buying/selling accounts is not encouraged on the forum anymore ? And I bet you for nuts they website is faking their green trusted account sales.

*the site looked very promising and the visuals look legit, but I haven't heard from anyone in the forum that the accounts which are bought from anywhere that worked.
If the do, the first thing DT would do is make that account worthless. Also setting up a website using a free template isn't much difficult.

I'm a newbie myself and these answers look very helpful.
Again, why buy an account ?

Wonderful answers.
In the actual news: the payment system for the website has been shut down, and whoever is behind that - has to stick their head into the sand somewhere (and will keep an eye on that website, and other scammers alike).

On the separate note, I can tell that my social experiment went well, and it's $90 well spent.

I've learned about scammers, and (based on the above answers) I've also learned that people on forums like this are full of it.

Not that there's something new, but sad and honestly pathetic to see all the vanity, the arrogance, and the hypocrisy of the "real" world well translated into the (supposedly) brand new and (presumably) futuristic (in terms of values, including mutual respect). Fascinating from the psychological point of view. So, while I do sincerely believe that blockchain technology is awesome - I'll wait on the side bench till air clears from the odor.

Again, thank you/love to everyone, and may... whatever you worship and believe in... be with you Smiley

You may go ahead and report/delete/mock this thread and my account.

I'm fairly new to both crypto community and to this particular forum, but it does feel like double standards.

You are fairly new to crypto and to this forum, but you jump up to a conclusion that you need to buy an account - probably high ranked account? The question is "why"?

According to my experience in this forum, I've witnessed several cases which have been attempted by buying an account.
Such as signature campaign abuse, bounty campaign abuse, posting scam ICO ann from high ranked & trusted accounts, and much more with 1v1 deals. It's not all, there were more but I forgot all.

I'm surprised to see you have created an accusation topic against a scammer by being a scammer as well. I'm also surprised to see that a scammer scammed another scammer, lol.

And instead of "buying" an established account - why not just grow your own reputation (and the respect of the community).
Anyways, at least you have learned something by paying a fee.

Peace to all.  Wink

Ok, so for the heck of it - initiated a small transactions with this lowlife. No answer to emails; tried chat on the website - once transaction is mentioned they shut down the chat window. I shall skip the curse words, and therefor I got only one thing to say: low life p.o.s. like that makes crypto-community look bad. Avoid the scam, when possible - report to admins, to make sure scammers have nothing to feed on.

Why would even buy something from a shady looking site like that in the first place ? Its looks like you fell in the trap by your own misjudgment and ignorance. Like you said, buying and growing an account by yourself is the best way to do it and it seems like you have learned your lesson the hard way. Anyways, the only good thing that came from you getting scammed is the creation of this thread to alert others, so that's great at least. (¬‿¬)

Exactly my point. Now, my next question is: why in the world the postings are not deleted from the threads, not flagged, not banned, etc etc..? I'm fairly new to both crypto community and to this particular forum, but it does feel like double standards. In one hand - I've seen maybe naive questions viciously and almost immediately deleted, while posts from jerks like bitcointalkaccounts.com somehow avoiding the scrutiny from moderators...  Shocked
Scams are not moderated by the forum, users need to be cautious when dealing with other users, that's why trust ratings are created.
Only users that has posted against the rules will be reported to the moderators

You do know right, buying accounts with such high trust ratings simply mean you're trying to purchase rep which is not endorsed here ? Why would you need to buy a high ranked account anyway ? You should also be tagged for being involved in such shady account dealings.

The member who is advertising that stuff has a low trust score rating. I checked it out when i was considering it, but then realised that it isn't worth the risk. Just use a blank account and rank up normally is better.

I'm interested in seeing proof of what you said, please take some screenshots of your correspondence with the site admin?

If you try to buy an account, there will always be a risk of you getting scammed. Also, there will be the risk of them recovering the account through means of signing a message. That's why account sales should be avoided altogether, even if you use escrow. And even if you get your account, DT members may give yo negative trust for having a bought account. This site is literally asking you to send money to a stranger in return for a potentially recoverable account - I don't know why you would do that.

The site is obviously built on a budget and its sole purpose is to conduct scams. Avoid buying accounts at all costs.
