I ran into this issue recently when I tried to upload a pic that was too large.
If you physically resized the image and re-uploaded it to your image server and try again, would that still return the same error?

I'm hoping for a solution from the forum-side. It might be a temporary blacklist, but I'm afraid I'll hit it again.
Yeah it would be nice if this limit could be increased at least for the next month or so - I would imagine quite a few users might hit it due to the some humongous images being posted in the art contest thread.

No, I'm not, and I don't really want to use a VPN because of this.I was just thinking that you might be getting the error because you're sharing an IP with someone who hogged all the bandwidth but it seems like your own fault
