Topic: BitcoinX ! is it a scam? who are behind the project? (Read 124 times)
after a quick (less than a minute) check of they tread and website and white paper it does not look like a great project, and its not backed up by a good dev team, or anything, its just another useless fork as many others.
I do not really understand about BitcoinX, but I think it will be legit with a pretty good project, but you also need to be careful in a project and must check carefully.

I do not believe in every hardfork of bitcoin and do not believe in a currency that is traded under many zeroes rang (0.000X).
it is not important this currency be a scam or not, but the most important thing is it will not have any value in the future and will not rise.(I hope the market will be regulated to end this absurdity)

So far i haven't get it yet. It just an altcoin i only can give suggestion to avoid things that smells ICO.

I don't need to google what the hell that is to know it's a scam. Any Bitcoin fork is a scam by definition, some are more scammy than other. For instance:
Bitcoin Gold: A Bitcoin fork, doesn't claim to be "the real Bitcoin", so it's just an altcoin, and it's as much of a scam as any other altcoin.
BCash: A Bitcoin fork. DOES claim to be "the real Bitcoin", so not only it is an altcoin, but an altcoin that claims to be Bitcoin, fooling the public in the process, this is insane and a very aggressive scam, as a result.
