I think yes bitconect is dead. Its down very fast.
From beginner so many people said that they get much profit from bitconnect but i still doubt with this project so i never invest in bitconnect. N now its scam. I am lucky

Bitconnect is biggest scam ever.. When my friend adviced to check their whitepaper and how their system works, i said to my friend one word: Stay away! This ponzi scheme can hurt both of us because noone can get rich on ladder ponzi schemes except owners.

There are scammers even trying to get the last rays of hope from those who have already been scammed! Seriously, this world of crypto is not for newbies. It truly is the wild wild west over here. Too bad for those who got ripped off, it is easy to be blinded by the potential riches and take a gamble - I guess people just wanted to believe that they could change their lives in the blink of an eye. They will be more cautious next time.

It was heartbraking to see it burn... It was pretty obvious for people who know about economy but still, it's a heartbraking sight to see it burn down slowly. Hope this "recovery" is legit and the owner of those last tokens won't get hit once more, they already lost a lot...

Dropped from 480$ to $9,08 USD ( current price) already improved that Biconnect lost everything :  their trust at investors, their valuation at the system . I could say that the fallen of Bitconnect pulling down a huge empire of MLM coins which are really potiental to developing.

So, just strike out this useless project. This is normal situation. Be more positive and concentrate your attention on more successful projects

I think they are back, I was watching Youtube and saw an ad starting with Bitconnect logo its called Zouk coin !!

Bitconnect is dead but the scam idea behind it is not. There is another new coin called Lendconnect
with similar website and features that is going to suck in many new investors unfortunately.

It was sadden that bitconnect shutsdown most of their features, there value really goes down a lot. I feel sad because I have family members who invested in bitconnect and I hope they will release their capital investment.

Bitconnect was even in the top 20 of coinamrketcap list at some point in late 2017 . If they are actually pumping and dumping, people are going to lose a lot of money.

I think you're wrong about that. Many people who bought BitConnect from stock exchanges were unaware of BitConnect's system. So many people may have invested in this system without knowing it.

Honestly I don't feel pity for bitconnect investors (suckers) that lose money. They should've known this was a ponzi scheme. There were too much information regarding this scam basically everywhere. I hope we will see these scams less than now in the future.

Because Bitconnect gave a hope for those who wants catch a dream.... big money without hard work.
They promised good profit for those who participate and join referral program.
But at start of this progect many analysts had afraid than that multy-levels referral program looks like stupid Ponzi scam.

It was born dead, I never understood people investing their money in scams like Bitconnect when we have a lot of solid, prospective projects on the market.

   I do not feel sorry for people who lost money there, I hope that can be

There is a rumour about bitconnect try to build new platform in the future called bitconnectx, This scam project just remind me with cloud mining site which already tried to rebrand into the new name to erase a lot of negative comments and review about that.
Bitconnectx scam will be back again soon. Honestly i will be glad to see if the developer will be arrested to the jail. 

I don't understand why some people still holding this coin, it was said this this time last year when the ICO was on that this is a pure scam, but because of people's greed and thanks to some youtube content provider they help promote this scam. I have you guys know there is a class action suit in court now against Bitconnect and its promoter

I knew from the beginning that bitconnect is a ponzi . Even Vitalik Butherin the founder of Ethereum sustained that each platform that it gives you more than 1% every is a PONZI . Be careful in future and stop to put money in platforms like this "lending".

Most people are interested in ponzi scheme and overaggressive marketing strategies as seen in Bitconnect. It was obvious that it is scam, but most people are idiots and invest such things. Maybe some investors read this but sorry I have to be honest, do not ever invest such a ponzi scheme again. Do not believe over happy people as seen in Bitconnect party omg.

Today I saw that its price increased a bit. This was a huge chance selling all you got. Crypto market is huge with lots of chances, I believe you can earn what you lost soon.

There will always be new projects like the BCC was. Many investors were deceived by the promises of the developers. Possible profit was unimaginably high and it is sad that most of the investors actually believed in this scheme.

A scam is finally revealed and this Ponzi scheme that worked on the principle of the payment system from the old users to new is broken now. Problem is that the more scams like this are already working on the same principle and they still ain't revealed.

Its a big loss for all new investors of that Bitconnect. Its hard to pick a good coin to invest now because of this happenings, Im afraid now to lose my money. So many investors and community believed in their project but they pulled it all to the ground. This is the saddest scam project I've ever heard. But i see there are some lucky who sold it early and its a trauma for all investors.

Bitconnect has said they would like to price the BCC coin at $150 on their bitconnectX exchange when it opens.  People may be buying in hopes that they fill follow through.  They have said they would like to make people "whole" with their investments in their lending program by paying them the $363 per BCC coin they hold from their loans; for people who didn't transfer their BCC from the bitconnect exchange already and sell them for huge losses.  Remains to be seen if they will do it.

There have been so much warnings everywhere and people were still blindly following the gurus. So sad story yes, but all have been warned!

All the market is recovering right now starting from BTC to all Altcoins so maybe Bitconnect still alive.

Many people continued in BCC despite warnings and knowing was a ponzi scheme, they just looked through eyes of greed. Many others were ingenuous and fall into the scam without any guilt.

I said to people it is a matter of when this house of cards will fall, the interesting thing here is that you still see some people still investing in their new ICO they called BitconnectX, most people just like to gamble with their money

I heard this news too from my friend and I read on the website. it is sad but it is true. I think every people maybe know that bitconnect is ponzi but they still make investments in that site and it is for a big money and now, with the price is dropped and maybe it will scam, many people regret their decision to join bitconnect. I think from this news, many people will not give a trust to cryptocurrency although maybe they don't understand that bitconnect is not bitcoin.

I remember the news about BCC being a scam from about a month ago. Can't believe people still bought and didn't sell after that. I guess maybe they hadn't heard of the news or something. What shocked me was that when the first article came out, the price still increased. That's when I knew it was a scam

Why the sad face? I'm happy so many people were forced to actually learn something about good crypto fundamentals. Something which BitConnect didn't have.

The Bitconnect coin itself is not dead, its lending platform is the one that stopped in operation. As of this writing, the price of bcc coin in on the rise. Who knows, the people behind bitconnect offers another service that will benefit the community.

It was a pity. Officially cheating. They collect their money and say they are going now. Now it's a shame what the stock market will do in the stock market.

The Bitconnect project had bad news written all over it.  It had a weird cult like following. 

This is the time that MLM co-ops will disappear from the market after a period of turbulence. BitConnect is the largest MLM affiliate marketer and is currently on the verge of recession. The day BCC went to the coinmarketcap site I had anticipated it would get out of this market forever and that day has come, really condolences those who have invested in BCC from a very high price.

Everything what can be said now is useless. The project dint go well, maybe the crypto lending market is not that easy. It is making one risky investment even more riskier.

From the beginning we can tell that is a ponzi scheme, even Vitalik warned already the people that is a scam..They even create another ico which is the bitconnectx.

Why did you even go into it, so many people burned out. From the very beginning of the project it was clear that this was just HYPE, collected the money and it was clear that at the end we would see scam.

It seems like it is dead and this is just the beginning, BitConnect can go to value zero so care with an investment guys. Just a warning for all the dip buyers that are looking for great chances right now

Before the investment is made, it is necessary to investigate what the project is and who the project team is. BitConnet is a good example of this. It was bad for those who invested their money in BitConnet.I hope they did not lose much.

Shit happens, that's why I never trusted it. Hope there comes a good system for a passive income, would be great to have one strain of income in cryptos without trading.

Glad it finally collapsed. Bitconnect obviously used ponzi scheme for its lending program. It was just the same as hundreds of sites listed in Investor-based games, the only different is this one got a huge marketing so it could scam a lot more in value and stay for a little longer.

I hope people won't fall for something like this again, unless they really know what they're doing.

Ponzi scheme got popped, I don't feel sad for the idiots who can't do a simple google search.

Many people knew it already then still get into it well some people successfully make money but still lots of people are now suffering because of this greed. This happens so many times and we must learn from this things to prevent loosing money. Invest only on great coins and big profit will create for sure.

I suspect this situation represents an opportunity to buy BCC before a significant bump. That is my opinion.

BCC is valued currently at $277 on Coinmarketcap, down 7.48% as compared to BTC. What's more I think the price will dip further once trading is resumed because panic wont stop immediately, but following the dip I expect to see BCC rebound and that it will match BTC's percentage growth thereafter. That would mean approximately 7-10% bump in price within short order.

As always I am no expert, just a guy talking about crypto. Do your own research.

Everyone who did a tiny bit of research knew bitconnect was a ponzi scheme. I feel sorry for the people who had no idea and failed at researching it. I am sure a lot have lost a lot of money.
