The site is still new so there is no one who report and make a review against the exchange. As a user say above when you googling the review for this exchange the site's review just tell the exchange is safe for any malware but we don't in the other factor. I feel sorry for your loss, you have to make this incident aas your learning in the future. Never trust your money to the new exchange, just choose an exchange which has many user.
Sometimes Newbies are too lazy to do some research, For example in @Vickyalmighty's case. He only got to know that this thread that even has warnings about the scam existed only after getting scammed. If he had googled before sending those scammers the Bitcoins. He won't have been scammed.

All he had to do was just type "bitextrum exchange" in the search bar he would see some earlier threads from bitcointalk talking about the scam

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Newbies are prone to those new website with good offer that's why user should set their own standard when dealing any website, if there's no review ask the community, if the site has lots of negative feedbacks and scam reports then obviously, find alternatives and stay away to that site for good.

Sorry with your loss.

Make it a habit that you will check for reviews first before using an exchange. Start by searching which are the most popular exchanges and if you can't start with that. Go quickly to search for the reviews.

Don't be too confident with each exchange that you see and doubt it before depositing such amount. Losing 0.05 btc is quite a huge amount. Don't just look and depend to the design, it's very deceiving.

That random person is possibly the owner of the site since how could he trust you while he don't even know you? those 1 BTC is just a bait for you to deposit and for sure he will take your money after the process. This style is classic which can still caught newbies empty handed so better leave the platform and don't entertain those kind of offer since its so dangerous to take a risk for.

I guess it's a lesson learned. Next time you should endeavor to first look for reviews, scam accusations or even ask for assistance from members in finding out if the website you are about to send your money to is legit.

Just because it looks legit doesn't mean it's not scam. Scammers are getting smarter and so should you.

Why don't you just do it and see what happens? As long as you don't install or download anything from them or deposit or use a wallet that already has crypto in it then you should be fine.
I'm very interested in how this scam works. The scammer must want you to deposit and some point in time for whatever reason they make up. Otherwise how else would they gain anything?
Be very careful when answering dm/pm on social networks.

These scammers are usually quick to react with deleting their website, create a new one, start sending random message, and so on. A more effective way for newbies would be to learn the known MO of scammers instead of individually checking new random website.

Yes, when I search bitextrum with review or scam there's no victim complaining about this exchange yet
1. https://www.scamfoo.com/site/bitextrum.com/
2. https://www.islegitsite.com/check/bitextrum.com/

At least this thread can prevent any newbies before use this exchange if they use search engine.

This isn't new. I have seem this scam dozens of times.

Of course he owns the fake exchange and will take your deposit. There is no "1 BTC". Just a number on a fake page. Here is another example: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53533153

Also, the "exchange" is literally a copy of Binance. Just compare it yourself.

It is a scam trick and it's been going on for a while. It's good to know that you were not greedy and therefore didn't fall for it. Basically after all the stories the scammer tells you, the so-called exchange will ask you to make a deposit of more BTC as a form of "verification" when you try to withdraw the money the scammer claims are in his account. Once you send them the money, it's gone.

Check here for more details.

a random person on telegram claiming he found me on presearch coin group asked help from me to withdraw his funds from bitextrum exchange. have you heard of this exchange?
he sent 1 btc to my new account on bitextrum because he cant withdraw to external wallet. bitextrum exchange doesnt allow him because of laws. (this is what he says and error on the site)

so he wanted from me to create new account. after he sent 1 btc to my account i couldnt withdraw because the exchange wants deposits from external wallet.
