I would have also like to check the website especially their price rates and mode of deposit after registrations if arbitrage would be possible but it seems they limit access to their website from some countries which is not really necessary due to the heavy security and document they requested before you can transact with them.

I accessed their site when I was in Japan a while ago.  They don't really ask for much, if you just give them your email address and facebook or phone verification they let you use up to 250,000 yen per month.*

It is preventing you from staying anonymous when using them, but nearly all Bitcoin exchanges have at least some form of verification and the new Japanese laws are actually starting to suggest verification for exchanges and "know-your-customer laws", Coindesk claims.

*2,247 USD, as of this post.

Hello everyone!

Japan's #1 Bitcoin exchange in terms of trade volume is Bitflyer. The company offers not just a an exchange platform but also tools and information that are useful to Bitcoin and Blockchain enthusiasts. The website is very user friendly and the fees are very competitive. No wonder it has the most trading volume in Japan.

You also forgot to mention that they have the greatest bitcoin add on the internet.  And the most gorgeous looking Japanese women working for them.  Grin

Yes,bitflyer has overthrown US exchanges surprisingly.Japan seems to embrace bitcoin all of a sudden. The battle is between Flyer and Quoine to become largest bitcoin exchange in japan.China remains no1 in bitcoin trading with 91% of trading volumes.

With claims about Nakamoto is living in Japan, it would be very ironic if Japan would not embrace the cryptocurrency. One thing I like about Bitflyer is their very nice and user-friendly website. It is not so overwhelming, especially to Bitcoin newbies. It is also internationally available because of the English language. Smiley

Hello everyone!

Good to see that Japan follows bitcoin and that they have such good exchange. One thing to point out is that this exchange have property insurance on users bitcoins with some Japanese insurance company which is very good if someone tries to hack exchange and steal funds.Japan is known as a country of high technology and very valuable people,we can only expect that the good become even better in future.
According to My co-workers who are from Japan, Asō Tarō (Deputy Prime minister of Japan) is strong believer of Digital Payment and this is his effect that they are adopting Bitcoin as their payment system.

China trading volumes are mostly fake and I do not believe that is 91%,it is definitely a smaller percentage, but China is still number one, there is no doubt about that.It remains to be seen whether all the measures taken by the Chinese authorities divert part of the volume on other exchanges.

China has always been playing double standards, whether it is in Politics or Making friendship with fellow Asian countries.

I've always been wondering what exactly goes on within other Asian countries, especially some of the markets in Japan. I never really take enough time to go and see what's going on, but information like this is actually something I enjoy seeing here and there.

I'm going to look at some more of this, but I don't think I'll ever have a use for this due to my geographic location.

As their promotional video is completely in Japanese language, what we can understand from it is just few gorgeous lady dancing  Grin

Actually they have categorized individual account like classes in flight LOL
Never heard about them before, they may have hidden KYC policy which will be quite frustrating for non-Japanese traders.
If they do then that would be their down fall because as the Americans always say
"It's all Japanese to me!" Huh
When they don't understand something.
Let's just hope not for them to stay the biggest exchange outside of China.

The Japanese have definitely embraced Bitcoin lately and I can see a future where they would dominate. I am actually surprised that the Chinese

have outsmarted them from the start. They have the technical know how to beat the Chinese, but I do not know if they have the same discipline

and dedication. I am currently working on a import deal for some tech... and we are planning on using Bitcoin as the preferred payment option.  Grin

Yes, Japan has been betting on bitcoin on the last couple of months. While China is still the dominant country in terms of bitcoin trading, Japan is following suit as well. There are no fee's as well in Japan exchanges if I'm not mistaken. Maybe their is a friendy bitcoin law is Japan, that's why a lot of Japanese is investing in it as well or using bitcoin as mode of payment. Either way, we will see Japan as a dominant force in trading (whether fake volume or not  Smiley) in the future.
