Thinking about getting one myself. Good luck on whatever you decide on.

Basically my questions are:
Besides the BitForce Single ‘SC' which other hardware should i already have?
Can i use a shitty (but well protected) laptop to get those hashing monsters running?  or do i need a powerful one?
Each one requires his own USB port? (Well i really don't know how to connect them but i imagine that)

The single will do all the work, the computer it is connected to just needs to be there to catch the data, so to speak. I have seen current BFL FPGA singles run on netbooks. You will likely just need a fairly recent operating system to run the 'catching' software.

Keep in mind, BFL may have to push the delivery date back. I believe October to be optimistic for BFL ASIC. ESPECIALLY if you didn't preorder months ago.

At any rate, welcome to the wild world of mining!

all you need is a computer that can run the mining software. CGminer, BFgminer are the popular ones and will run under Win, Linux, or Mac.

Hi!

Today i started reading about bitcoin mining and i am really interested, i did read about CPU and GPU mining, but it seems like the competitive option right now is the new ASIC Hardware (October).

Basically my questions are:
Besides the BitForce Single ‘SC' which other hardware should i already have?
