Well  for bitfortip there are open threads in project development and bitcoin discussion were people can discuss whatever they like about it.

It's usually a warning sign that the thread poster cannot handle criticism very well. Nothing wrong with locking a thread for a variety of reasons, as the original poster stated - others will notice and tend to ignore people who do this and it is a form of spamming in itself (because you're not getting discussion)

The rewards are being determined by the inquirer. But usually they post the minimum amount needed 0.0001 BTC.

In the F.A.Q I've written

How much should i tip?

As much as you think the tip that you want is worth. The higher the reward though, more members will be interested on answering your question.

Yeah I completely understand that ,its not your fault.Just saying that I don't really put my time finding stuff from low rewards. But happy for the locking threads part.Cheers.

Good thing he locks the threads.Sig spammers otherwise take that as an opportunity to spam the shit out of thread.I do get occasional mails about new queries posted, honestly I don't use the website as rewards are quite low.

A clear conscience laughs at false accusations.

Also Cloverdale and Avirunes have already got me covered about the lock.

@Etalia Feel free to investigate whatever you like.

How will panagot have access to peoples account? He has his site, creating account doesn't require unnecessary verifications. He's not asking money and I don't think he's offering a false service. I often have notifications from bitfortip whenever a new inquiry is posted from other people.
Maybe he's locking his thread because he doesn't want people to spam it because that's what most people in this forum does. So is butterzone. He has every right to keep his thread lock if he doesn't want to see unnecessary shits in his thread.

Talking about bumping and locking topic every OP who starts a service always don't want his/her thread to get infected by spammy posts. Well i think that it is really a good way to stop spammy posts.

On the other hand talking about panagot's Bitfortip.com site i would say its a good site and serves the need if someone wants to know about a digital good or something. There is nothing shady. Wonder how you felt that  Undecided

Good premise, you should write the screenplay on that one.   Jessica Fletcher  would totally catch them out

Offcourse every forum got it's weirdo's. We've got the butterzone whom pretends to offer services but let nobody reply... but now we got another one panagot.

He  has a service and asks other people for help, bumps the topic and then locks it. which is shady
The service is free which makes it even more shady.

My service is to offer the truth about this guy. Is he after account details, did anyone there encounter problems with their account yet.

Service/ Reward: You will help this community a big deal if you find a scammer/this scammer.
