Safe&easy multi-blockchain wallet from Bither Team
New to this community and have been scouring the search engine for hours trying to find a thread that may have the answer I need but nothing has come up yet, apologies if someone can refer me to an already existing thread that answers my question.

Started using Bither in late 2017 and didn't use my wallet for about a year until recently.  Stupidly, and without thinking ahead of time I used the same wallet address to complete a few transactions only to have nothing show in my wallet despite all addresses, confirmations, etc, being correct and accurate.  Find that I need to sync my wallet to catch up to the newest block chain.  Tried every speed and fee option to get the "reload transaction data" to work but all I get is a "network error" message every single time.  Figured that maybe my internet connection was too slow and am now at my relatives house using their very expensive high speed internet service and am getting the same message.

Question: Has anyone, perhaps one of the Bither developers, ran into this problem and found a solution?  Perhaps a patch or upgrade version I can then somehow get my original coin rerouted to in some way?  It isn't a massive loss but still would put me back a few hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin, which I actually need soon, if I cannot recover these transactions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has proven to be a very frustrating ordeal and has sent me travelling for improved internet connection speed to no avail.  Thank you and your time and energy are greatly appreciated.

A simple and secure Bitcoin wallet!
Sorry for the late. Because our team members are in China, and you know the GFW, we does not check bitcointalk forum often.

We just release a new version v1.8.6, and it has tuning the performance of importing private keys and reload transaction data.

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
Your 12 word passphrase was shown to you when you created your wallet. You mentioned you cant find the file where you saved it, wallets don't offer an option to save the seed to a file because that is not a safe option, unless you copied the words manually and placed them in a file somewhere. I am not familiar with Bither but I guess they don't either.

You should know though that no costumer support will be able to help you with getting you a copy of your seed phrase or private keys because only the user creating the wallet is shown this information.

If you are sure you saved the file somewhere on your PC then you can search all the files created/modified on your PC for a certain date range.
Open your Partition and in the search field type:
Quote
modified:1/1/2017 .. 1/1/2018
I entered the range 1/1/2017 - 1/1/2018 because you said you created the wallet sometimes in 2017 so that is when the file was saved as well.

You can read more about these types of searches from this source:

LOYCEV: currently I'm searching all over my computer for that particular save file, I cannot remember for the life of me where I may have saved it or what I saved it as.  Just emailed [email protected] and am considering posting in the Bither ANN thread.  I'll let you know if/when the issue is resolved and how, whether I find the 12 word passphrase or whether Bither gets back to me, I'm sure there be some conclusion to this dilemma for the records.  Thanks again for the quick replies and pertinent information, very kind of you.

Do you still have a backup of the mnemonic word seed (12 words)? If so, this should be enough to recover your funds.
