Since sandor111 shared their experience I'll share mine too. I used to buy digital items on Bitify. I made quite a few trades of $100 or less and even if the seller gave me bad/wrong digital items they would always refund. I never went to Bitify escrow directly because the sellers I chose were also highly rated feedback and so just offered returns immediately when I said the item didn't work.

Their escrow is super cheap though and I imagine in a real dispute they would be fair like sandor had said.

I just wanted to share my experience and feedback about bitify. I agreed with a seller on some trade and I suggested that he posts item on bitify because I want escrow. I offered to pay all fees and he posted item. I payed while he was offline and when he woke up, he changed his mind and said to me that item is not available anymore. I was angry of course because he was just spending my time, but the real question was am I going to get money back and how am I going to prove that I didn't receive item.
I needed to wait for quite some time. The problem was that seller marked item as shipped, despite the fact that he told me in messages that he don't want to sell it anymore. After I requested refund from bitify, they first give seller "72 hours to respond to the dispute with their version of the incident."
10 days after I requested refund from bitify, I received my bitcoins back. Minus the fee. So I received about 2.4% less then I payed. I think they should refund the full amount in such cases, but that's how most escrows work, buyer payes the fee, if seller cancels deal.

I am posting this experience because some sellers who don't want to use bitify, say that it's because they don't know if bitify will release money to them. This is stupid. Bitify simply decides based on story and proofs of both parties. If seller proves that he sent item, he will get money. And the same with buyers, if they didn't get item, they will receive refund like I did because seller obviously couldn't prove that he sent me the item, because he didn't, and I showed bitify his messages saying that he don't want to sell item anymore, so the decision of escrow arbiters was easy.

If you are comparing bitfy and openbazaar there are some differencies. As far as I know they are both legit but on Openbazaar are also some goods which belong on dark markets. Bitfy has bigger traffic andw you can also use escrow, which is good from the security point of view.

Hi everybody,
what do you think about this site?

https://bitify.com

Do you know it?  Huh

They great I have used them a few times. Good traders easy to ask questions. Support is not bad. You get some nice deals and access to digital things you can't find easily elsewhere. I highly recommend it.

Also does anyone know a place I can get the game Overwatch ? The have it on bitify but only for ps4.

Now I found an other "ebay" using bitcoin:

openbazaar.org

Which one do you prefer? What do you think about?

I prefer using bitify since it's got a lot more traffic than openbazaar. So, especially if you're planning to sell, you'd want a site where there's a lot more users/possible customers who'll see your products. BItify's been around long enough. And it's a good platform. BUt, as always, you gotta be careful when dealing with people. THere's always risk of fraud and such.

AS for openbazaar, it's still 'fairly' new, thus the lack of users.(Well I dunno, I've heard of openbazaar for some time back, it's just not that popular.)

bitify is legit but not really popular IIRC, and you must get to register an account if to buy or sell, in order to prevent invisible trading especially on the auction.

Bitify is a great site. I use it to sell items on autobuy and sometimes buy items! The problem is that it doesn't accept a wide range of payment options.

I think the problem with OpenBazaar is that you must keep the client running all the time or your shop offers  will not be accessible. I like that it's really decentralized, so nobody can't take it down but the need to keep it running 24/7 is a showstopper to a lot of users.
That actually is a good thing. On most of the sites like bitify I have had cases where I put in an order the person doesn't come online for 2 days. Technically if someone wants to buy something immediately, then being online should be a good thing for both the buyer and the seller.

Yes, like someone said its Rebranded name for Cryptothrift. It has a good escrow system in place to prevent scams, and so far I have never had any problems buying on it. Open bazaar is fairly new. Doesn't look like they have jump started too well and will probably take time for it to get established.

Just think if bitify are better than openbazaar considering from the both of demand, i think will more reliable place if you're wanna for buying and selling in the bitify. i can't say openbazaar are bad site but considered from the demand and for immediately visiting the bitify.

Yes, this is a good trading site! I've bought already a lot there and also have some domain names on auction.
They offer 30-day escrow protection for customers.
