I am hoping someone could advise me if there is anything I can do ? Perhaps contact ZipZap and/or MoneyGram with the problem ?
On 07/10/2013, I made 2 cash deposits (using my real name and address) totaling $995.95 at a local MoneyGram location to a BTC Wallet address. I never received my BTC; I have emailed Bitinstant customer support several times with absolutely zero response. It has now been 11 days ago since I made the cash deposit.
I will be greatly appreciative if anyone here could advise me of what I should do now.

Maybe start a thread in scam accusations...that should get someone from Bitinstant attention. (You should post amount, date, order ID, etc...)
Contacting ZipZap or Moneygram would probably be a waste of time.
