Downside I notice is lack of support for Taproot addresses,
There's support for Taproot addresses but for some reason, it's hidden deep inside their Advanced settings:

  • Advanced > Address Viewer > P2TR [depending on the three address format tabs that appear, you might have to do some horizontal scrolling]
    - I cross-checked other types of receiving addresses (first ones) that appear for each of the other formats and they matched so I guess the P2TR ones are also valid.

I tried Bitkit wallet and I like they included secret passphrases and coin control, that should be the standard for all bitcoin wallets.
Downside I notice is lack of support for Taproot addresses, and you need to manually enable coin control in settings first.
They could also improve privacy with adding Tor switch inside wallet.

Before continuing, I checked both (Terms of Use and Privacy Police) without reading everything because it was very long. I don't know if anyone reads it until it runs out before pressing the Continue button.
I'm one of those users who reads every bit of those things [if I intend to really use them] so I'd recommend others to pay more attention to such things [e.g. preventive measures]!

I asked this because I did not read until the term of use yesterday when installing this wallet on my device.
I installed to see not to be used as storage because there was another open source wallet so that yesterday during the installation process I only read part of it before checking both (Terms of Use and Privacy Police).

But that is very important and must be read thoroughly to find out everything and suggest others to pay attention to it is a good action.

but looking at the code, during the past days, many bugs were discovered, some of which were addressed in the current versions, but it is still a beta verison.
Great catch with the amount of reported bugs on their repository, but it's worth noting that they've published two wallets on Play Store and they recently came out of beta [refer to this post on X]:

It has some good features like COIN CONTROL, Add a secret passphrase, boost transactions, but looking at the code, during the past days, many bugs were discovered, some of which were addressed in the current versions, but it is still a beta verison.
The features it contains are available to most wallets, and it is better not to use that wallet to manage your assets. Use it for experimental purposes only.

Term of Use Bitkit is too long when the application is installed on the device. Before continuing, I checked both (Terms of Use and Privacy Police) without reading everything because it was very long. I don't know if anyone reads it until it runs out before pressing the Continue button.

The appearance of my face Bitkit Wallet I like because it looks luxurious.
My highlight on the Lightning Funds feature, just slide the side button. This is very easy.
For other things I did not test.

It's an interesting wallet with a nice set of features, but certain elements/parts of their website remind me of Ledger [I hope there's no connection between the two].
- I haven't fully tested it yet, but I installed it in an emulator to quickly check if there are any limitations from taking screenshots of the recovery phrase and unfortunately, there weren't any (they do have other types of warnings, but still...)!

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
After reading the description I thought it's something similar to Phoenix wallet that allowed users to send and receive funds on LN instantly without creating our own channel but no this is just another conventional mobile wallet for bitcoin. I didn't download it but the UI looks refreshing with contrasting bright colours but I have been using electrum for years and also have unstoppable so I don't want to complicate it further, maybe in future it can be useful for me

Thanks for sharing, it's good to know that one more open source wallet for bitcoin is available on mobile platform.

at this year's BTCprague 2024 conf, the company Bitkit also published and presented a new self-custodial wallet.
with this new open-source wallet, instant and on-chain payments are possible and your own recovery phrase consists of 12 words. Bitkit is of course available for all android and ios devices
