Not your keys, not your coins!
It’s pretty weird. I would have sworn I saw his Twitter account’s Bio a few minutes ago, and it was different (i.e. wording was scam related), and there was even a tweet from that account by an alleged person who took over his account to expose him as a scammer. Nevertheless, that content seems to have changed over the last few minutes. Also the account states that he joined yesterday.
Nope. His Twitter account dissapeared yesterday. Yesterday, if someone search @BitKrabs in search box of Twitter, only found related tweets, but did not find his account.
Hours ago, a new account with same or nearly the same username appeared, but as you see, just a few followers. It's not original accounts.

Edit: Found what I was on about before: https://twitter.com/bitkrabs the account was created 2 days ago, and the username is similar to that in @lucius' post, but with a trailing "s".

I read about bet between BitKrabs and Binance CEO, but I must admit that I thought that it was just a joke just because many people in crypto world say things like that, and the situation does not seem to suggest that the price could collapse under $8k.

But as far as I can see there is no scam accusations against BitKrabs, he is only have problem with his old Twitter account and he start new one, so maybe his old account is hacked or banned by Twitter.

However, some user is say "I’m told he’s running exit scams under different names. Note he’s only been around since May #cryptocurrencyscam #bitkrabs #crypto #scam" : https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bitkrabs?src=hash

Be careful, extremely careful before you give your money to other hands!

It's best not to give your money to other hands at all. Always keep your assets in a wallet to which you alone has access to the private keys.
If you plan on sending money, always take a commensurate collateral before doing so. It's safer to use an escrow.

You likely knew or did not know about that guy (BitKrabs on Twitter), but his scam story and his art of scam deserve to have a warning here, especially for crypto newbies.

I think we should contribute what we know about scammers' strategies in order to help the crypto world as clean as possible. They always appear and change their strategies over time, but it is valuable to take a look at BitKrabs case.

He bet with Binance CEO on bitcoin future, and he bet 10 BTC that he chose Bitcoin will fall below $8k.

He also claimed that he manage a huge funds of bitcoin, and yesterday terrible thing occured when he vanished with bitcoin of naively crypto investors.
His Twitter channel deleted too.
