It is known how loud the z15 is?
How many db?

No one has it yet to test. English (International) website is not stating official db but Chinese website specification of Z15 says that it is 70db on 440KSol/s.

Problem is, here in the US they are still the tariffs...

Nah...according to Trump, the Chinese pay them  Grin

On a serious note though, in my experience, if you are only purchasing a single unit under the limit for an informal entry (believe it's still $2500), while still being above de minimis, you have a good chance of only paying 2.6%. I have only paid 2.6% on every single order since the tariff went into effect and all were informal entries and liquidated at time of release, meaning the determination by customs is final and they can't come back to charge you more later. My S17 Pro was $0.62 over the limit and still only 2.6%.

Formal entries are a different ballgame where you're attesting to the accuracy of the paperwork as the importer and customs has over a year to review before liquidating. Those are the entries that end up getting taxed more later if the paperwork is inaccurate. Key difference is customs files paperwork for informal entries that are liquidated immediately and you or customs support broker/agent/shipper file formal paperwork that customs later reviews and doesn't liquidate for up to a year or more.

I purchased one from the August batch and I'm willing to take my chances on how they tax it. I was going to hold out for an S19 Pro after halving, but this seems like a better deal to me. I just hope the middle board doesn't fry quick like my Z11 did. No problems with Z9 and Z9 mini units.

I noticed they were listed on the English site yesterday. One without PSU and one with. Both were showing July ship date and already sold out so I don't know if they were ever listed for sale on the English site with July ship date. One of them still had text in Chinese. This morning only Z15 with PSU was for sale with August ship date. That just sold out.

Nice catch, I didn't even notice them being posted on English website. Would've bought them instantly...

On their official WeChat they made an announcement yesterday that they will start selling Antminer Z15.
On that same time they put it up for sale on Chinese website: https://shop.bitmain.com.cn/

Z15 specs:

Hashrate: 420 KSol/s (max 440KSol/s with Power Usage of 1700W)
Reference Power Usage (Min): 1500W
Power Efficiency (@25℃): 3.7-3.9 W/KSol (that is an insane step up comparing to Z11's 11.25 W/Sol (I measured it yesterday)

Shipping Date: 20-30 June 2020
Price: ¥14660.00 - 1910 Euro (without PSU) and ¥15160.00 - 1975 Euro (including APW7 PSU)
(before VAT, shipping and any other expenses)

Both options have been sold out as of now on Chinese website and there is no indication if they will even be released on international website.
