Can the APW7  run TWO z9 mini on 110volt ?

ASKING THE SAME QUESTION.... its got 8 connectors

I assume it should work fine.  I've tried with 240 volt and works fine with two z9 mini and one apw7.

Only difference is that with 110 volt you got 1000 watts and these z9 mini consume very little power like -250-350 watt each depending on your overclock.

efficiency seems to be almost the same. no real difference
but it wont shutdown on 45 degrees. it can run much higher

I have just 1 z9 mini and a apw3++

Since the z9 mini draws very little power,  is it better to use 120 volt or 240 volt?

I just overclocked my z9 mini to a higher frequency to use up a little bit more wattage but its still below half the power supply capacity:(

Thanks for anyone that can provide me some feedback

240V is always better than 110V because the current decreases (A=W/V), which lowers the likelihood of heating up components.

Not much you can do about the Z9 power consumption. 300W/12.15V out of the PSU = 25A, which results in about 90% PSU efficiency at 240V and a percentage point lower at 110V according the the Efficiency Curve. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

They ship only this PSU in their new bundles (Antminer + PSU).

Are you saying you can't buy it separately?
His wording is a bit ambiguous but he means that they ship this instead of the old APW3++ in their miner bundles. Looking at the 13.5TH/S S9i with PSU listing confirms this:

7. Kindly note that APW7 instead of APW3++ will be included for this bundle.

I looked at the efficiency curve of the PSU and it seems the lowest you'd want to run the PSU at with a decent efficiency (~88%) 15A at 230V like you said, though you get a good bump-up to ~93% at 30A, and it reaches maximum efficiency at 60A at 230V (95%). Would post a chart but I'm on a phone and the image format isn't accepted by my image uploading site. Oh well.

On another note, Bitmain has released a mobile site for their shop (entire site and not just shop upon further notice?), and it's well organized with sections for PSUs, specific algo miners, etc- it's certainly a change I welcome as I browse their site often from a mobile device. Not sure how recent this was, but I just noticed this upon opening your link to the APW7.

Not sure who noticed but Bitmain released a new PSU, the APW7 which is a slight upgrade from the APW3+.

Bitmain PSUs are amazing and they are the only thing I use today.

240v   1800w
120v   1000w

93%-95% Eff

Do not pull less than 550w, eff drops dramatically
