I paid the $50. The fee was a customs fee from customs in CHINA.

What did you end up doing? I missed the UPS delivery and was left a note saying c.o.d. is required by check to shipper.

The tracking shows that the import C.O.D is due "Import C.O.D. (ICOD) charges are due for this shipment."

So must be Bitmain who screwed it up. Send the other one fine, but made a mistake on this one it seems.

over 2500 in merchandise = tax

under 2500 = no tax unless  it was written wrong
Any recourse I have? They have already tacked the fees and said that its China who is assessing these fees. Not sure if its a USA taxes.

I live in the US and had that happen to me once, was it shipped right to start with or the right fees, id go to the post office and find out What ups and why, if it was all paid for all ready ...in my case the mail man was trying to ripe me off and did, it was only 20 bucks but he got away with it . I was a fool so now for something like that i go to the post office directly and make sure...but then again i got nothing to hide.

Well, I received two of them. One did not come with any fees, other one is tagged with fees. Not sure why. I am from USA.

No customs fees from the USA. Shouldn't have happened. If they asked for money it's because Bitmain told them to. If Bitmain marked it as C.O.D there should be a tag on the label. Can you post an image of the label with your address / name blacked out?

It might be a fee for Costums? Or It may be some tax? Did they specify why then wanted this money? It has happened to me alot of times in Sweden, that my shit country wants more taxes from a product ive bought online.

Never heard of that. I ordered a lot of stuff which was shipped by UPS, and I didn't have to pay anything for claiming the package from them.  Smiley
Show them the invoice, maybe you can work it out that way.

Has anybody ran into this problem? I was asked by UPS to pay $50 to accept the package when I have already paid them 0.44 BTC  Angry for the product plus shipping Sad

Any thoughts?
