My el. price still gives some profit to me so S9s in a big amount are still profitable for me, for now.

I'm even more confused now, today I got the mail saying that my repair ticket was incorrect and I had to edit it.
Please correct me if I'm wrong:
In the order PSU is listed like this

APW3+-12-1600

In the repair ticket options PSUs are listed like this

So logically choosing APW3+-12-1600 was an correct one right?

And the mail was even more confusing

I dunno what they are asking me to do but I changed the PSU listing and choose APW3-12-1600-B2(10 connector)

and still if my repair ticket was wrong, couldn't they change it by themselves ? I'm fucking waiting for this a month and they are complaining about wrong repair ticket and I'm not even sure is it wrong or not.
And if it is wrong we have a longest conversation ever by email where is my order number and there is exact model of PSU I ordered. I don't have a clue what to do.

Stop using bitmain.
They have become a bad company to do business with.
I am no longer buying from them .

If they reduce Antpool (20.4%) and BTC.com (5.8%) currently 26.2% of the Network; to less than 12% and meaningfully contribute to the distribution of the Network; I will buy from them again.

As is; they are acting against the best interests of the Network.  Please don't support them in their selfish endeavors.

So, finally I got my package with PSU, the PSU seemed used but until it works I don't care. Also as it seems this PSU was from old batch, I noticed the difference between how cables were bundled together in this new and old batches. Also packing kinda strange, not in the original box, it seemed like it was done in rush, but again until it works I don't care.

it was stuck in the box just like this and covered with board holder foam

This is really ugly ass packaging at best....
When UPS guy came up I thought they took a package by mistake and we opened it together, but again I'm not complaining just sharing, until it works I'm happy

Purchasing toys from BitScam in 2017?, You deserved everything you got. You are actually lucky you were able to getaway with a PSU loss only. No big deal, get to your local radioshack and buy another fitting PSU. I would personally dump them away and build a GPU rig instead. Far more profitable and GPU's will always have a value. Your ASICs on the other hand will be worthless once Wu comes with a newer version. (which is near)
I know, I totally understand your point, as for me at the moment GPU is better then BM ASICs, but when investor is demanding specific product, you offer best option and then they decide, you understand me right?

I don't want to cover BM's ass but there's something strange in your story.

I had a servicing request with BM and they provided me with their UPS account as well so they covered the shipping cost for me entirely. I had no trouble filling the form with their provided ID and my local UPS staff accepted my package.

The collection process was indeed an abandoning experience. I think it took more than a week after arrival into HK before the status got updated. Their explanation was that the item was only considered "collected" after they transport the package from HK into SZ, which would take more than a week. I found this a very sorry excuse and they could at least improve customer communication.

I know, they provided their ID for me too, but our local UPS office wanted some other papers, I'll refer to the email in the end of this post our local UPS sent to BM asking for papers. The cause is that not all UPS offices accept that ID as a guarantee that the provider of the ID will cover the shipment price. I had to send it and cover all shipping expenses by myself, they gave me coupons of course yeas I'm thankful for that too and transferring package form HK into SZ indeed takes about a week or so, until then the status is uncollected.

Bitmain is becoming an scam business, they were selling defective R4 which have been discontinued most likely for that reason.

They agreed to replace the R4 for T9 if I paid the hashing difference in hash rate, since the R4 failed with in a few days of running. I did pay for the difference in hashing rate in Bitcoins.

They have both of my T9 miners for about 6 weeks (6 weeks after being received)  and are failing to ship, 3 weeks ago they promised they would ship within 5 days and failed.

Avoid this crooks they will not honor the guarantee as they should.

Most likely they are mining with my hardware.

I initially suggested just sending them the bad parts and they refused, they said I had to ship the whole miner. They are crooks there is no reason to hold my miner with them for such a long time, they are becoming like KNC, Butterflylabs and the rest of the crooks.

who knows if they will even ship my T9 miners.

I hope they will ship your T9s soon, in fact until I pushed to hard they did nothing.

Thanks to the good folks at nicehash you can "mine" BTC with almost any hardware. The irony that BTC miners aren't the best source of BTC at the moment.

This Ian indeed poor services rendered by the Bitmain company, but they are not in the the USA and there is nothing you can seem to do about it. I suggest you get it fix and do some mining am certain you would have had some bitcoins by now if got it fixed and started.

I personally have GPU farms, but what to do with my investors? They are paying good % and want to get more S9s in next few weeks, I'm so confused what to offer to them.

PS today they finally managed to send me new PSU it will arrive in 5 days, hope it will be in working condition.

I got involved with the 2 acre solar array hoping to do a 40 acre array.

I finally had a good power deal. In New Jersey it is hard to do this.
The s-9 was just coming out I hoped to run 7-8 s-9 units to show the investors that in NJ a big solar farm could be good .   Instead s9 gear just kept breaking .

So we never built the big array.

Would have been for me as I am retired .
We managed to get 15 S9s so far, they are thinking about 150 more with the el. price of 9 Cents per Kwh. (I'm hoping in the end of summer it will be ~5 cents). After this and some previous experience with bitmain I need somehow to convince them to switch to GPUs and I need to do this ASAP. I'm doing this as full time job, so there are no other options I guess.
Good choice especially if you're going for full time mining.   I also GPU mine but not large scale due to electricity issues with my other hobby miners running, it might take more time but there'll also be more profit made quicker.

My order was about one month ago 2017-03-29
2x Antminer T9-11.5TH
and
2x APW3+-12-1600W,PSU
They arrived in about a week (thank's to UPS). After plugging them in and configuring I discovered that one of the PSU isn't working, so I emailed them the problem.
They sent me their UPS ID, but our local office asked for some kind of "payment label" the guarantee that this company will actually pay for the shipment, no shit, Bitmain didn't provide anything about this. After ouple days of worthless negotiations I did it myself, sent the package via EMS (total shipping value 50$~). The PSU arrived there at 25.04.2017 11:51 and the ticket status is still uncollected, this is ridiculous, one of their support members told me that they will provide the coupon for 50$, what the fuck should I do with the 50$ coupon? Bitmain is this a joke? It's already a month passed since my brand new miner is off and you don't want to send me new PSU? Why the hell are you doing this?

bitmain strikes again.  they got me and many others.
I already have tens of thousands invested in their equipment since S1 came out and planning to do more, but if this kind of support will continue I don't know what to do next.
Are they even testing the equipment before shipping out? I'm so pissed and angry...

They don't HAVE to do anything.........they are outside any US jurisdiction & it's Bitcoin,no one will care  Sad

Good luck, but I would find out what PC PSU works best & buy one yourself to get mining.I think sidehack has some good & cheap with cables & adapter boards  Wink

Shoot him a pm

He's honest & man of his word  Wink

Oh,you might be able to sell your coupon here, just see what folks will give ya for it  Cool
For myself I prefer GPU mining at the moment and thanks for this info I'll check it out

They don't HAVE to do anything.........they are outside any US jurisdiction & it's Bitcoin,no one will care  Sad
No one said what they have to do.  Actually, very few companies are obliged to provide the kind of customer service that they do, it's just that they have an economic incentive to provide the service - that no one will buy feeling insecure.

Bitmain is a weird exception since they have such a huge monopoly that there aren't enough good alternatives so they can get away with screwing everyone over.  No one should be buying from them by this point, they're a cancer to Bitcoin.
Maybe investing in bitfury's blackbox would be good idea at this point, but considering it's cost it will be hard to convince investors it's worth it

I'm currently stocking up on PSUs (they're ordered and inbound), but once they arrive I'll be able to sell a 1500W Platinum-rated PSU kit for $150 shipped within the US. That's got a breakout board and 10x 18" cables. One benefit to using a modular setup like that is if something breaks or dies you only have to replace that one piece.
As I said I'm building GPU rig for myself, I have some spare PSUs to combine, but if they won't be enough I will need your help. Cheers
