Probably was an issue BETWEEN you and Bitmain, I've had no problem accessing them in the past week when I do my daily "check availability" visit.

Bitmain.com is just fine I think it just checking your browser, just try to used another browser or you can used VPN to open the site if not again try to retart you computer. It works for me just now.

For future, You can always drop back to the old helpers of clearing your cache, close the browser and try again, try your phone, another computer, another location....and see if any of them work.

Domain is going to be back up, could've been done for maintenance or could've been getting hit by some hard ddos but who knows. I'd go with the latter just because of how controversial they are with the whole ASIC boost shit, and that everyone also hates Jihan so it could simply be someone who doesn't like him taking him and his little site down to bother him.
It won't work for me either. Maybe they're busy trying to decide on what coin limit their new altcoin should be hahaha. Either way it seems they're not worried about the website and more about securing their financial future ATM.

Yeah this is also true, their site really doesn't do much for them as they sell antminers all over the place. They've cemented a place in Bitcoin for a long time to come, and unless someone else comes in with a lot of money and investments they're going to stay here.

It might be from your location, maybe they are working on some maintenance issues with account  from your location so try using a Virtual private network (vpn) to access it and see if it works.

It could be a DDOS attack. Anyone with real money invested in bitcoin is tired of Bitmain's antics. They crashed the market with a simple blog post, and now they threaten with an altcoin that would be premined. It was pretty much clear that something like this would happen. If you piss off hodlers it has consequences, and all hodlers are against Bitmain's roadmap.

It is hard to tell, works here fine, a little slow on Cloudflare.  The issue with all these sites being too good to handle their own security, so, when there is an issue that does not specifically tell you what is what, you have to figure whether it is cloudflare or the site. Also you can try with this site

maybe somebody is angrily DDoSing it Cheesy

Cheesy This is the most probable explanation. I believe there are others in the Chinese mining community who might be thinking that Bitmain is cheating them because of ASIC Boost. The only way to prove it though is through the UASF, but Bitmain has to mine that chain also. If there is a 15% reduction of total hash power in Bitmain then that could be proof that they were using ASIC Boost all along.

They have angered more people than simply miners. A lot of Bitcoin users and investors has serious businesses that are dependent on the success of this experiment. Some rival chip manufacturer might also hire some hacker group to perform multiple DDoS attacks on their site. You only have to browse around on Reddit and other platforms to experience the hate that people has against Jihan and Bitmain. I cannot sympathize with people like them and would understand the backlash that will come from people that are angered from their actions. ^grrrrrrr^

Able to open and browse the site, it may be some issue in your browser or from which country you browse it. I would suggest you to clear your cookies and history and then open it. Normally it should open, if it doesn't check if your Internet provider has blocked it that could be one of the issues, otherwise it's working all good nothing much to worry about, it happens with all websites, somethings hosting problems alsom

do you mean their hashrate drop down 15% of what they currently have (which is 17% i believe) which means going down to 14-15% or goes down 15% meaning drop to 2% in total?

also do you have any source for me that i can read about ASIC boost? i saw some stuff the first day it was revealed but didn't see how much it is boosting.
