Me just a bad user. Best of luck with your website. Don't improve it.

While there is always room for improvement, for example an upload form would be nice for the receipt, the site states pretty clearly that you need to send a copy of your receipt

What other exchanges offer cash deposit that are buyer-centric? BitInstant seems a bit high priced for cash to BTC conversion and the other exchanges that deal with higher volume want my left kidney scanned with ID to participate.

I've always had good experiences with Bitme... But I usually sell BTC there, not buy it...

My fail. I did not know this exchange requires e-mailing a photo copy of the receipt. BitFloor did not require this, so I was confused. It does say on the page to send an e-mail after, but to be honest that page has a lot of large type on it and it doesn't stand out as anything extra. I assumed it was saying "If something is wrong email us" and their FAQ also said if you've not heard back in 24 to e-mail the receipt. I assumed I only needed to send the receipt if something was wrong.

May help if:

  • Make it clear you will not get the funds until you email a photo
  • Reword FAQ entry that says send photo if you didnt clear within 24
  • Layout the "Deposit is Ready" page to have a structure. People like 1, 2, 3

Has anyone used BitMe exchange recently? I am trying to use their exchange to purchase two small orders, one for $50 and another for $100. I have to say I am not impressed with the turnaround time of their service so far. The last exchange I used was BitFloor, and the whole thing was very easy. BitFloor said it would happen in about 2 hours and it was all done and I had my BTC out of the exchange within a few hours. So far with BitMe I have only been able to send them money, while the exchange rate is changing and no communication is made. I still have to get my BTC out of the exchange, and it's taken me approaching 2 days.

Has anyone else used them recently, and what's up with the slow turnaround and lackluster customer service? I want BitFloor back Sad
