Same here. Found a mail in my inbox saying that someone tried changing my password.

I wouldn't say bitmedia got hacked, though. It could be a mail list from the old hack of bitcointalk.

I got a similar email from "BTC-e" this morning. I used a specific mail for bitcointalk/btc-e back then so I can withdraw money to bank.

This is not new, I received a similar e mail from them a few months ago which was asking me to reset my password, but i did not pay any attention since I never used this site after my registration and I was too busy to care for this issue back then.


This is a serious issue and I believe many people do not know about it

I believe that bitmedia database has been compromised, I got a password recovery email and I have not used them in over a year
Someone has gotten a hold of the database with email addresses
