Does anyone have recommendations for a good BitMEX alternative?
Yes, I will recommend you PrimeXBT to check on it, it has unique features of 100X leverages on all coins, giving 35% deposit bonus which I'm pretty sure you are not after that. PrimeXBT does not ask for KYC for withdrawal or trading on their exchange which I think its quite good.

You can check on this link for bitMEX alternative exchanges.

... and Bybit, which looks really similar to Binance. I'm not too sure how reputable those two are, but they seem fairly decent. Does anyone have recommendations for a good BitMEX alternative?
I have been using Bybit for about a year now. The website and Mobile app seem pretty smooth. Not similar to the ugly experience I had with BitMex, when the platform would freeze during sudden price drops. The challenge I faced with Bybit during the early stages after its launch was low liquidity but It has since increased.

I've done a bit of searching and found Deribit (which seems to be requiring KYC now?) and Bybit, which looks really similar to Binance. I'm not too sure how reputable those two are, but they seem fairly decent. Does anyone have recommendations for a good BitMEX alternative?

Deribit users have until December 9th to complete verification, although new signups may be required to verify outright, I'm not sure.

The main options now are:

  • Binance Futures (2 BTC daily withdrawal limit without KYC)
  • Bybit (10 BTC daily withdrawal limit without KYC)
  • Kucoin Futures (2 BTC daily withdrawal limit without KYC; unverified users capped at 5x leverage)

BitMEX is now requiring KYC in order to trade. I don't really want to KYC if I don't have to, so now I'm looking for an alternative derivatives exchange that doesn't require KYC. The only thing I really need is to be able to long BTC with BTC, similar to BitMEX's XBTUSD contract.

I haven't really been following exchanges recently, so the only one I'm familiar with is Binance. Their derivatives offerings look pretty decent, but each contract in the BTCUSD
Perpetual market is worth 100 USD. I'd like to be able to trade (preferably) in 1 USD increments.

Apart from those you have already mentioned, I wanted to advise you to have a look at https://sovryn.app/
sovryn is in its very early days but it's made possible by a bunch of bitcoiners who are porting DeFi opportunities to bitcoin.
You would look at the sovryn decentralized Margin Trading where you can create up to 5X long/short trades borrowing leverage from the lending pool.
As I said, this is at the beginning but if it grows it could be the no-KYC product to go to.

I haven't used Deribit yet but been using bybit in the last 9 months or so to do some gambles on the price , they seem to be really good
last week they partnered with borussia dortmund as well , not sure if that make them more trusted
I wouldn't fully count on them not KYCing forever cause we all know this can change any time but so far they aren't KYCing

also they keep crediting bonuses from time to time and you can use that to cover the trading fees which I really like , also they keep hosting trading competitions but I guess you aren't interested in that

one of my friends also recommended phemex but I haven't used it , it has more trading options according to him but since you are only interested in longing btc with btc I guess Bybit should be more than enough
