Estimated time to generate one block at 12GH/s 10859.2 days.

So unless you got very very very lucky the difficulty would rise faster than you can hash so your estimated time per block would just keep going up.

Basically unless you win the lottery on a regular basis stick with a pool as chances of you hitting a block are slim.

Hi, I have about 12GigaHash via a mix of ASIC cards and Video cards.. I have been using Bitminter for last couple of months now, and built up sufficient credit to transfer it out... Now my question is... With 12 GHash, would I be better off solo mining ... at current rate, it will be about a year tpo generate a single coin via Bitminter pool...
Can I (Any links pls?) set up my own pool, using all my ASIC and PC and solo mine?

Thanks,
