Yes, it is same as facebook. But with Bitmoneytalk, it is only for people who wants to share about crypto. There's videos, blogs, forums, marketplace etc. all about crypto.
I see that you have gotten the whole idea of facebook but it's more of something that you want to pursue and promote which is all about crypto. I reckon what they have said about the idea of withdrawal, you should decrease it a bit and let your users taste on how much they have earned from your social media.

For now, I don't have any plan yet. But one thing is for sure I'm going to pay out of my own pocket. Maybe, I'll be accepting advertisement soon and membership packages.
It will be easy for you in the future when you've got tons of members actively discussing and posting on your platform. But before going to that point, you should really consider lowering the minimum withdrawal.

Metawin.com - Truly the best casino ever
Good way to make your website but it's a difficult task to really get people who are interested in crypto and not only in your free satoshis. At first I would try such thing on local segment if you live in small country. I know one very serious company created social network (not crypto related) with their own servers for streaming, to sum up it was great local alternative of facebook, twitter and so on but they failed, people didn't move on their services. In social networks there is natural monopoly, that's sad fact but it's truth. I wish you success but sorry, I am a little bit sceptical here, despite the fact that it's crypto related and a little bit different situation.

Once a man, twice a child!
Here are the rates of earnings

500 Points = 500 Satoshis
Minimum withdrawal = 50,000 Points
This is even the scary part for me. It reminds me of faucets - the withdrawal targets are always set too high for participants to meet. And most times when this is eventually met withdrawals are made impossible.

Now, we have ways of earnings for your social activities, please check the post above to see how much you can get for your social activities. There's a lot of difference between those websites you mentioned like adding friends, tagging friends, live chat, etc.
Here are the rates of earnings

1 Point = 1 Satoshi
Minimum withdrawal = 50,000 Points

Not sure how adding friends and tagging friends is something that people would be enticed to, as it's pretty much very similar to Twitter's follow and @tag feature, but the point system is definitely interesting.

Where you are going to get the funds though? Of course for now I assume it's going to come out of your pocket, but what about long term? The points(1point=1sat) looks pretty easy to earn; how would you deal with account spammers? Do you think the potential income from ads and or promotions would be enough to cover the payouts of every single user?

I sincerely wish you the best of luck here.

I mean, it sure does look like a nice Facebook-ish website, but how are you going to compete with the existing top bitcoin/crypto-related forums(bitcointalk, bitcoincom, bitcoingarden, cryptocurrencytalk, etc)? What does your site actually have that your competitors don't, and do you think it's really enough for them to prefer your site over your competitors? Is using your website THAT advantageous than using crypto Facebook groups?

Don't get me wrong though, I definitely find this interesting.

Best of luck.

Good luck with your BMTalk  Smiley

IMO, you should make it unique or even better. It's look the same as facebook which I really thought it's FB upon viewing at the very first time.

I'm thinking of giving rewards worth of bitcoin weekly so that many users would join the platform. Also, I'm thinking of giving rewards to those who would invite to come to the community(like an afffiliate).
Same thing on what steemit did if you want to get more traffic and members. You should allocate a decent budget to make it happen, making an affiliate would work since there's a reward for every successful registers. You can also hire some good writers to make interesting topics to start conversing there.

But as long as there's a reward, bitcoin or any good altcoin traffic will come.

Thank you for your appreciation. You are correct I really need a big budget to achieve a good result. I'm thinking of giving rewards worth of bitcoin weekly so that many users would join the platform. Also, I'm thinking of giving rewards to those who would invite to come to the community(like an afffiliate).

Be careful with this strategy. I've known several forum which starts their advertisement by giving away/running a campaign dead after the campaign is over. I'm pretty sure organic traffic will come to your site when someone can find something unique which is not replaceable or can't be found on another site.

Anyway, good luck with your project.

Nice website. I see there are many things in one website - blogs, forum, marketplace and ither things - it looks interesting.
But it will be very difficult to attract active members to your community. Now it looks empty. I really have no idea how you can make it popular. You can try to start advertising campaign, but to achieve good results you need to have big budget.
And I see banners of App Store and Google Play at the bottom of website, but it doesn't opens. I tried to search for Bitmoneytalk app on Google Play, but didn't found anything.

The banner App Store and Google Play is soon to launch. I'm waiting for it to be approved.
Affiliate marketing is somehow a good idea but i would like to suggest on running up some campaign on this forum and since you are paying up worth of bitcoin weekly then
it would be ideal to make some noise about this new website. Just like been said above the site looks interesting but usually with new sites always have the problem on accumulating users.Good luck with this one
