Almost $700 for the card lol....no thanks  Roll Eyes

I am curious to see where else you can find a 40MH/s card for $700. I am all ears! Wink

750$ and I got 2 RX570 in France, both bought this month. That's 56-60MH/s for the same price -although more power required-, 2ys warranty and better resell price.

BTW, I reserved a Vega 56 for 650-670$, just have to be patient to get the delivery. That's +/- 43MH/s with proper mods. Smiley

No, because you have to factor in the price of mobo/ram/ssd/riser card, and most importantly PSU. There is a reason why big miners go for high MH/s cards such as P104.

I really want to get my hands on some, but china has of course priority and there’s almost no cards left for the rest of the world.

Yeah, seems like all P104-100 are in extremely short supply. The $620 price point seems alright given it's a 40MH/s card. Even a $1,000 1080 Ti can't achieve that kind of performance.
No one should mine Ethash with 1080Ti. Right now 40MH/s is $4/day while 750Sol/s is $6.5.

Does anyone have moded bios for p104 to get 39mghs , mine cant get over 30 Sad
I get 39mh/s stable with below settings. there is no BIOS for nvidia. you just need to use overclock software like afterburner

power limit : 90
core clock :0
memory clock : 630

Doesn't seem right. My friend's P104-100 cards run around 34MH/s at default clock speed. Most of them get up to 40MH/s when overclocked. Have you checked you got the latest BIOS?

Just want opinions:

Someone is selling 9x P104-100 mining cards and 1x mining system(machine) for BND8k+. Is it worth it?

this card is probably sold at $450 but peddlers like to make some huge profit due to demand. i would buy this item at a reputable store and refrain from newly built ones like bitnand.

NO WAY this card is sold at $450 anywhere. The card gets 40MH/s for Ethereum mining, which is amazing imho. The P!04-100 performance is on par with like 1080Ti, which costs $1200.

You have to be really fucking stupid to expect a profit by paying 1200$ for a ti and then mine eth with it. Really who does that?

Vega56 does 44 with 160 W?

The only thing amazing about this is that there's a gpu shortage and it has no competition.

Agreed, but again this card is cheaper than gaming GPUs to begin with. People are paying $1,200 for 1080Ti cards that achieve similar hash performance.

Nobody is paying $1200 for a 1080TI

How would this card perform mining non-ETH currencies? Like ZCash or SIA Coin?

The resell value should also be lower than "gaming" gpu's.

How can you sure this is not a scam? Unknown seller from china, domain registered 2 months ago, seller offering only one product in addition of a case...
Even if this is legit, I will never buy a 629$ card with almost no warranty and no idea about quality on components / cooling.

I think the site is made by an active Redditor, cause I see his posts often in mining subreddits. Don't think it is from China.

It’s a 4 gig card though. A bit steep on price from somewhere I’ve never heard of

Anyone ordered from this site? I want to make sure it's not a fake site. Pics look pretty legit.  Huh

I bit the dust and bought one P104, waiting to get the card. Confirmation email says delivery in end of Feb or early March.

We followed the instructions from our trusted manufacturer and flashed an optimized BIOS designed for mining memory-intensive algorithms such as Ethash. The BIOS runs a set of new memory timings that suits this particular model's GDDR5X 4GB memory chips.
How did they flash Nvidia card? Power limit is capped at 135W but TGP is listed at 180W-225W?

Dunno about the BIOS part. I think the 135W cap is done using nvidia-smi function in Linux. Just a single command.

True, agree with you on the ZCash profitability part.

Paying $620 for potential 40mhps is not all right.

Rx570 cost half and go to 30mhps.

Came across this site that's selling P104-100. Not sure if these are publicly available yet? My distributor gave me one to test and he made it sound like he did a big favor for me..

https://www.bitnand.com/nvidia-p104-100-gpu-mining-review

There's also a video of a 9 x P104-100 system running (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=38&v=st0e-_3LAfQ).

Seems pretty interesting...
