interesting, wld be looking foward to this, have u got any promo for new players ? Free chips mayb ? ^^

New players have the option of buying 100% rakeback for life in the form of a Counterparty asset that can be traded at any time: www.bitnpartners.eu

This is a real shot in the dark but is there anyone around that perhaps knows the name of the Counterparty token that was issued by this project? Its the kinda thing I'd like to own a few of as a collector.

its been 3months since you announce your site in this forum.

but till now, ring game and tournament are still "coming soon"

When will you open it for us? at least 1 ring game and 1 grand opening freeroll tournament Smiley

There is so much innovative stuff that, believe me, we are very eager to do; but it is important to test the fundamentals of the software enough so that no mistakes happen with any substantial funds. If everyone is happy with the initial results, then we can move on. Users are trying out the SNGs as we speak, why don't you give it a go.

Honestly and unfortunately I dont know how to play in SNG table  Wink

I always prefer to play in tournament and ring games

I'll wait till you add it into your site, especially for freeroll tournaments.  Grin

Hi everyone.

It took us some time to fix several technical issues that we discovered from our first testing round but now we are back with a public beta. We are running micro-stake Sit and Go's for the purpose of further testing and customer feedback. If all goes well we will later add more interesting stakes and games.

For a quick demo on how to register for a Bitnplay tournament checkout this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD73lzxrmwk

It’s definitely worth checking out as it is quite a unique experience. The concept is that your money/bankroll is your own and hence kept in your own wallet. We reduce the trust factor this way without reducing the convenience or speed of 'depositing'.

So give it a go and let's have some feedback.

Looks like they are requesting users to send moneyu to be able to register and play on the site. Not sure what actually is happening.

Guys, the image you posted was a static image that we had been using in our test framework to simulate and demonstrate the registration process of a tournament. It appeared on the main site as a glitch to some users who experienced problems while the Freeroll was running. It's not there any more. But in any case, to be safe, that wasn't a complete Bitcoin address and even if you tried you couldn't make a payment to it. (Try scan that QR code you'll just get a message saying "Welcome to Bitnplay") https://bitnplay.eu/images/test-qr.png

Bitnplay is free and open to anyone who wants to register. We are working on pushing out the first games soon. It's taking slightly longer than expected. But I'll put out a post here once there are some free games that you can use to test drive.

Are you guys still planning on the doxxing?  Or is it possible to play with some privacy?

Hey everyone. Bitnplay is one week away from the launch and we're very excited about getting the first games out there.

Bitnplay is designed to grow and offer some great features and surprises that we are confident the Bitcoin-poker community will love.

In order to keep the right bearing we will constantly be integrating your feedback into the Poker room. As you may know SNGs are going to be a big part of our initial games offering.

Please take a few seconds to answer three questions regarding your SNG preference: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/J8VKWC2

We appreciate the feedback that has been coming in, either through this forum, directly by email or using the form on the website. Keep it coming.

I agree that poker is quite different.  With respect to your system of verification, I understood that you were using certain social media spying to try to dox your users.  I agree that that doesn't sound very nice.  For someone like me who doesn't use social media and who doesn't have a gmail account with any personal details, I think your services are unavailable to me (but maybe I understood you incorrectly). New players have the option of buying 100% rakeback for life in the form of a Counterparty asset that can be traded at any time: www.bitnpartners.eu

We expect this to take off after the launch as we've had lots and lots of feedback from interested players waiting to check out the legitimacy of the poker room, and basically try out the software before they make a decision. This is a limited offering and a closing date will likely be announced after our launch on 1st Feb.

In terms of promos and BTC freerolls, I can say that we are innovating in this sector too and there will be fun surprises but these will mostly benefit Bitnplay's active players. You can't have 'deposit bonuses' if there are no deposits, so we'll do something cooler.

So this will be BTC only? Why not separate yourself from the pack and accept some alts or some Counterparty assets?
I think that if you are aiming at some serious long-term site, going for altcoins would be a great choice. Now, most of the gambling is done I  BTC anyway,  so one would have to have a good reason to justify the extra development  effort.

For the moment we are focused on establishing a robust payment system with Bitcoin-only. We can't accept altcoins because we don't take conventional deposits where the operator merely processes an arbitrary amount that players can use to buy into games. Each game requires its own automated payment processing instance. The safest and most recognisable way to do this is with Bitcoin.

no free roll tournament? for you promo site

You can register for the freeroll that will run on the launch date while there are still slots available. The winner gets 100% Rakeback for life, which is a pretty big prize. Upon launch we will start with SNGs 24/7. We will gradually be adding more promos freerolls with cash prizes in phases.

To give an update:

Since announcing 2 weeks ago we have over 200 new users and about a 50% verification rate fail rate (excluding the users that choose not to verify). We know that using social media isn't the best solution for everyone, but it makes for a forthright playing environment than cannot be achieved by other Bitcoin poker alternatives. But we are working with the Veridu team to make the process easier and more efficient. The users that failed to verify will get an email to try again once the latest changes have been implemented.

Have you guys heard from the site owner in the last 3-4 days ? .Would like to know whats the plan regarding the verification process.
Would be nice to simplify it.

@sherbyspark Can you be a bit more specific with your particular the issue? We expect that for users that are active on social networks it should take 2-3 of the available options to verify. If someone isn't that active it may take more. We'll tweak and make the process as simple as possible but we won't sacrifice integrity. Lack of anarchistic collusion and multi-accounts is what sets us apart from other Bitcoin poker solutions.

if they really wanted to say oh hey, instead of giving us your id, just give us all your accounts so we can check if your age is true.

Thanks for the interesting replies.

With respect to age verification, many folks, me included, don't have facebook, don't have linkedin, don't do any of this social media stuff and especially not stuff that asks for personal info.  Will folks like me simply not be allowed to play?

HTML5 in the browser is great, IMO.  It's cross platform and paranoid users like me don't have to worry about infected binaries because javascript already runs in a sandbox.

How is using google going to verify age?  I don't have my age in my google account.

Thanks for the questions.

You may not have your age in your Google account but other data from it can be used to match against the data from another account, that does have your age. The algorithm works with probabilities, so e.g. your Google account can help increase the likelihood that you are who you said you are on your LinkedIn, which may be a better indication of your age.

Is this going to be a windoze binary that you download or is it going to be in the browser?  Or something else?  Open source?  Android?

HTML5 in the browser for now, with a Windows application on the roadmap. Feedback is the best guide to product development, so we start minimal and see how the users react.

Veridu Verification Required

Anonymity might be fine for dice games, sports books and casinos but it just doesn't work for poker. Veridu enables us to tackle collusion and multi-account abuse which are big factors that hinder bitcoin poker's growth. There are too many people simply cheating. We appreciate your feedback with the Veridu process to help us improve the service.

lol I entered both facebook and twitter account on veridu but it wasnt enough, no way I´m gonna give my paypal account.

You can see what information you are allowing access to for PayPal, nothing to do with payments information if that was your worry.

Folks, to clear this up

In terms of verification, the only thing our partner Veridu forwards to us is:
Are they over 18? Yes or No
Are they likely to be a clone account? Yes or No
If yes to 2, then which accounts are they likely to be a clone of.
No names, countries, regions, genders, or anything else.

After looking at the Manifesto:

Why is the rake for HU games so high? It is far higher then on the non-bitcoin poker sites.
Will there be higher limits then 500nl?

It also seems that the projections of player acquisition are very unrealistic. What are the parameters used to make this graph?
Is there a Beta client/images of what the site will look like available anywhere?

Thanks for pointing this out. The rake in the Manifesto is provisional (that table was created a long time ago), and you're right in that the HU rake was off in terms of the caps. As we approach the launch, we will release a detailed list of our games and the rake. The end goal is that we compete with Bitcoin poker operators in terms of rake, rather than conventional ones.

There is a short explanation in the Technical Appendix section of the Manifesto. Please have a look at Players and Marketing Expenditure under the Financial Model subsection. If you need further clarifications let us know.

I have to say that age verification shite they have going on is a real downer. I wont even bother trying them, and no im not going to make a new twitter just to trick them. If a btc casino does not honor user anonymity, then they aren't a real btc casino. So my advice is so stay away.

You don’t have to provide all of this information, but just enough for Veridu to be sure with a high enough probability that you are of legal age and most importantly, whether you already have an account with Bitnplay.

It is our belief that anonymity is not the ‘success factor’ in Bitcoin poker (the same does not necessarily apply to casinos). The Bitcoin poker sample has been small so far and therefore its player base is not representative of the market's potential. We believe that unbounded anonymity is working against the adoption of crypto-poker. You can't enjoy poker when there is a collusion-fest going on.

Contrary to what you maintain, we aim to attract more players by actively keeping our platform free of collusion.

Thanks for the feedback. We have already forwarded your issue to Veridu, to review what happened.

Please try the activation again and contact Bitnplay support if it fails.  We will check the activation of your account shortly after.

Regarding anonymity, please see above regarding why this process is important.

They're based in Costa Rica and their company's name is "Escrupulos"

I don't trust it.

edit: they do have a nice site!

The fact that we have a registered company in Costa Rica is "politics". If you take a look at the Manifesto you'll see we are very transparent about who we are.

As a poker site, surely they need to verify your age and ensure that there are no clone accounts. Otherwise they run the risk of having colluding accounts on a table.

I have to say that age verification shite they have going on is a real downer. I wont even bother trying them, and no im not going to make a new twitter just to trick them. If a btc casino does not honor user anonymity, then they aren't a real btc casino. So my advice is so stay away.

It also seems that the projections of player acquisition are very unrealistic. What are the parameters used to make this graph?
Is there a Beta client/images of what the site will look like available anywhere?

Especially considering the player base of Seals, the current largest site, where you have to provide literally zilch in the way of dox.  This Veridu thing demands LinkedIn, Paypal, Google, Twitter, etc. account information and the information you have to authorize through the app is incredibly intrusive, including authorizing this site you know diddly about to know all your contacts, your timeline, tweets, etc.

I can't see that if you take a Venn diagram of the people willing to play online poker for Bitcoin (basically the Seals playerbase at this point), and intersect that with the set of people willing to give up all this information, that you get all that many people.

I liked the whole concept on which the website is based on, but the thing i hate about the new casinos is that they don't have any players to play with. All of the players are busy on SwC and no one care for newbies.
Best of luck
regards.

Hmm.  Also, what do these guys even ask for from you?  Kind of defeats the point of an anonymous platform to provide names or whatever.

Hi, the site sounds good, but is there an ongoing beta, or is it just going live on February 2nd?
Will there be other free roles with cash prizes?
Would be nice to see some freerolls. I guess, thats one way to have people look at the site.

Introduction

Bitnplay is a new and innovative Bitcoin only poker platform. We harness the potential of Blockchain technology to bring a refreshing implementation of poker to the crypto space.

Designed by players, Bitnplay’s software was built in-house to be lean and simple, keeping everything essential for a complete gaming experience.

Our mission is to offer a fair, secure and transparent global environment, where poker and Bitcoin will combine to create an unprecedented gaming experience.

We proudly invite you to the new age for poker.

Trust: Bitnplay’s Payment System

We eliminate the trust issues with existing cryptocurrency poker sites, by not storing any player funds, other than the games’ prize-pools until their completion. Our custom-made payment system processes buy-ins directly from any Bitcoin wallet. Each player is prompted to make a zero-confirmation payment that will buy him into the game of his choice. When the tournament is completed, winnings will be immediately distributed to the player’s designated payout wallet.

Receive your winnings immediately - without worrying about the safeguarding of your bankroll.

Collusion and Underage Gambling

Integrity and responsible gaming is the cornerstone of our mission. We have partnered up with online verification pioneer, Veridu, to offer the highest standards among crypto-gaming operators. Specifically, we will be using players’ online footprint for the age-verification and fraud detection purposes. Users will have to verify their account by logging-in via accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, PayPal, Amazon or Google in order to make sure that the player doesn’t have multiple Bitnplay accounts and is of legal age.

Bitnplay will maintain a strict policy against attempts to collude and exploit other players and by using industry standard collusion-detection mechanisms alongside with the aforementioned Social verification in order to offer the most transparent and trustworthy games.

Rake

With Bitcoin, we circumvent middlemen that charge a considerable amount for payment services and eliminate any chargeback risks. Moreover, because we have an in-house payment system, we also avoid the charges of third-party Bitcoin processors. We are thus able to offer substantially cheaper rake for our games, at around half the prices charged by traditional Poker operators.

Available games

SnG: Right after our launch on the 1st of February a big variety of Sit and Go tournaments will be available.

MTTs: Following the launch, we will introduce new weekly tournaments and their prize pools until our weekly schedule is formed.

Ring games: Within a short period after the launch we will begin to offer cash games, supported by our payment system for instant buy-ins and cash-outs.

Freeroll: Play for a lifetime of 100% Rakeback

We invite you to take part in our first Freeroll tournament, with the unique prize of a Partner Token which gives you the right for a lifetime of 100% Rakeback. These tokens can be bought today for 2 Bitcoin. This thread is created for discussion for matters relating to the game. To find out more about the Partner Tokens and for discussion relating to them, please use the relevant thread.
