I think the Bitcoin debit card will eventually die. Their track record so far is pretty dire and getting more dire.

Wirex have said they're launching in the US - https://wirexapp.com/blog/post/wirex-to-launch-prepaid-cards-in-the-usa-0026

I don't know if they have yet but they're unreliable and have a large spread. They may wind up being the only game in town.

Are you sure that Bitpay Debit card withdrawal feature is disabled? or you are the only who experienced this.

It's not just op, bitpay said it themselves through email and blog (post #4) and I don't think it's lifted either, 'cause if so, there should be an announcement.

I have been using Bitpay Bitcoin Debit Card for about a year now. Its WAS awesome!!! Now there is a hiccup in there program. Customer service said to me
that the atm withdrawal feature has been disabled for now. Can anyone provide any clarification of what's going on??!?   More importantly, does anyone
of a similar bitcoin debit card that allows ATM withdrawals...I am located in USA

Hope to hear from you very soon!

Are you sure that Bitpay Debit card withdrawal feature is disabled? or you are the only who experienced this.

They posted this "Where is the BitPay Card available?" 5 days ago and post this "How do I raise my approved processing volume tier limit?" 13 days ago.
Did you reach your withdrawal limit? this might be the reason why your debit card withdrawal is disabled. You may need to approve first from the listed tier from the above link and also if you need a clarification why not contact them via support https://bitpay.com/request-help/wizard
or you can try to reactivate your debit card follow the step from here How do I activate my Bitpay Card?

Was gonna say shift card but-

We hope you enjoyed using the Shift Card and truly thank you for your loyalty. We, unfortunately, will be retiring the program in April of this year. All Shift Cards will be officially deactivated on April 11, 2019. Don't worry, your Shift Card will continue to work until that date. Feel free to email [email protected] if you have any questions and we'd be happy to answer. We hope to re-launch the program and issue new cards in the near future. Thank you for your patience! If you're an existing cardholder, you may still use the "Connect Coinbase" button to reconnect your account.

If ever you can't find another debit card that is available in your country and you're after the "converting btc into cash" part, I suggest checking this article for alternative methods (Best Ways To Convert Bitcoins To Cash [USD, EUR, INR]).

They are improving their system and withdrawal through ATM will be unavailable.

Not a Bitpay user. However, I was surprised to here that their ATM withdrawal feature has been disabled without official notification from them. No entries in their official blog: https://blog.bitpay.com/

I guess the best option for now is to read them thru their twitter account and ask for clarification, https://twitter.com/bitpay?lang=en. Twitter is a good 'weapon', used it.  Grin

Since you have said that you have been using it for a year and that it was awesome, have you asked further about the withdrawal issue and until when will it be disabled. If not, try going to their community if ever they have a telegram or other platform for their community and ask their dev team directly regarding the issue to get clarification. No user here will be able to answer your queation, only their someone from their core team can provide you with the concrete answer.
