Can cow be next apple? They are absolutely different. DPoS ang DAG protocols. Trading platform and quick coin. May be the only one thing which they have in common is that they centralized in some way. BitShares is very similar to Ethereum just because of using DPoS instead of PoW they have quicker and cheaper transactions. IOTA is absolutely different effort.
Also there is no way BitShares is a scam. Technically it is one of the best platforms today, just not very popular.

Well let me tell you any project is different in essence from another so their purpose and efforts might reach different results, even if any try the same road map, there are a lot of good projects however their results are really bad.
Why compare these coins? They are different and each has its own way of development. I think that these are promising coins that can be bought for a long time
No, IOTA is far better than Bitshares and more importantly most people believe in IOTA while most people think of Bitshares as a scam.
