...But this is a big gambling business , no one should ever have to beg and should get best support possible from sites like bitsler and others.
You don't have to beg like it's a matter of life and death and it doesn't matter what business they are into. You made a mistake ask and you are asking them to do things that could pose risk to their system so it's only right that you ask politely. Customers should get the best support but they should learn to wait for a solution as well.

Huh Good Saturday people!

Done stupid mistake, as I was tired and wanted to gamble a little bit. So sent over 300 USD of (Huobi: Heco-Peg USDTHECO Token ) to Bitslers Tether address by mistake. Tried to contact them as I would only need the private key to be imported into houbi and recover my tether. But they saying it is impossible.

I was always thinking the crypto betting sites have private keys of the wallet addresses? Or is it some other reason that they cant be asked to do it? Im a Gold 3 tier aswell so was hoping to get some LOVE and support. Dont think ill get it back though.   Huh

They definitely do have control over the private keys.

It's just that for the amount that you're trying to recover, it's not worth the hassle for them to open up their hot wallet infrastructure and risk security just to get you your $300.

You could try to lobby for a better outcome... But this is your fault at the end of the day.

It is difficult to get it back if the fault is officially your own due to carelessness, while the casino provides deposits with the network they have set up. But hopefully it can be returned. You may be able to urge them to grant waivers, even if there is tolerance for the first time. So far, some cases like you have not found a solution other than to just leave it at that.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Have you read their TOS? Does it says anything about scenarios like the one you are going through? Because there are some casinos that are very clear about not helping at all in cases like this one and they are not afraid of letting their customers know they will not even bother to recover those coins, I say this because in the case Bitsler actually has the policy to help their customers you can use this in your favor in case the support does not even knows their own TOS and eventually refuse to help.
So far there's nothing mentioned there so it's a 50:50 chance of OP depends on bitsler how they were approached.

I saw some post with the same issue of OP way back 2018

I lost my BCH money when deposit to Bitsler.

I copied the address from Bitsler site and made deposit but nothing in my account, no balance, no transaction.

Then I asked in chat box, someone told me "dont worry, we are trying to fix" and then, stil nothing.

I asked a support by email and they replied "you sent to the wrong address, that's not our problem".

Then my money gone Sad

Hope it will be fixed though, since OP is somewhat a regular user.

I just read your reply properly and through out. Bitsler is proper big online crypto casino. With loads of customers and I even think it is legal and regulated OR AM I WRONG? All proper regulated and legit business should do the best for their customers. Because shit happens... Also the thing is that they can get the coins whenever they actually need them and they arent like they got no money. They could just cover it as its still in their wallet which is in their posession. I got a bit confused when you said ''You gotta be nice to them and soft'' Im nice and soft to my daughter because shes only 6. But this is a big gambling business , no one should ever have to beg and should get best support possible from sites like bitsler and others.

The fact (or the problem) here is that, it's nobody's fault, but your mistake which caused you to land in this situation, else why would you be talking about bitsler's support?

Be it your daughter or any professional business, you must be knowing that if you want to get your work done (like asking your daughter to sit calm or asking this big business), you need to cherish them with some love and care. Seriously, nobody is asking you to get into their shoes, just stay calm because it's your money and you committed a mistake. And I hope you won't repeat this in future taking this as a lesson.

Thank you guys for clearing it up. Its bit sad to lose it, but in the end I was meant to use it for gambling and probably would have lost it anyways.

Its not the first issue with Bitsler, other one was that my friend had. He was withdrawing 10 Litecoins and he accidently put in BTC address . So instead of blocking it and giving you a warning just like primedice does. It just went straight to that wallet and got lost on Coinbase. Fuckers wouldn't help.

Bitsler seems to be ok at the very moment. The customer rep told me they are waiting on admins and will try to help me as much as they can. So I hope I can get some of it back. Considering im not a new player but a GOLD TIER 3 dicer who lost enough on there anyways . Grin
The only option right now seems to wait, at least you got what it seems to be an encouraging response that they are willing to look into the issue and see if they can recover those coins for you.

It's technically possible but it's not that easy, I'm talking about their (hot) wallet security which only the executive knows (multisig wallet probably) and it will take such confidential process by their end to just export the private keys, and it will take time.

What you can do is to do them favor and kindly ask them, until they agree, maybe they will ask compensation or offer a compensation for them to do it. It will take time though and you need to wait.

I wonder if they will accept this kind of request since there hot wallet is very sensitive and should not be connected on any website. There's always a note to not deposit any other coin or else it's consider as loss. Most of the casino didn't entertain any query unless they are at fault. I experience this issue before on some casino with much larger amount of money. They said that its not there fault and they can't do anything to give me back the fund.

But let's see if Bitsler is kind enough to entertain this request.

Some service do, I heard some exchanges and other services do charge for such but will take time, but those who strictly follow their terms won't. It's up to bitsler if they will accept a compensation to do it or not.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
This is possible and even you do this mistake into exchanges, there's a way for them to retrieve your fund that's sent wrongly. But you have to be soft on them and just as said by blankcode, ask them nicely. Because you're in the bad situation and you have to tell them what has happened and whatever is going to be said by them, you should accept that whole heartedly. Lately, if this mistake has been done in some exchanges, you'll hardly get a yes but in a casino, I haven't heard some success stories about it but maybe you'll be the first.

300 $ is a serious amount of money and i hope you get them back. I don't really think, that it is technically impossible to get them back, but it is also not that easy to do, that is probably why the bitsler is telling you, that they can not do it. I know from exchanges that if you send a ERC-token for example to the exchange address of another ERC-Token then you can contact the Exchange to get it back, most good exchanges will do that, but they also ask for a fee for that action most of the times. So maybe you could contact bitsler again with your request and offer them for example 50$ as compensation for their effort. Getting 250$ back is better than getting nothing back.
