Aurumexchange removed btc-e today too, not sure if temporarily or for good. They were always short of btc-e though, you would be lucky to find 100$.

I've been researching about this and followed most of bitinstant's posts but I couldn't find why BTC-e and Bitstamp were removed. One thing which comes to my mind is that they are out of liquidity on these exchanges. Could it be it ?

Noticed that Bitstamp and BTC-E are gone from "Pay to" at BitInstant.

That's not good to let one exchange monopolize the market even more, and being able to deposit with BitInstant to several exchanges is important for diversification of trade.

Any comments on why Bitstamp is gone and if/when it'll be back?
