Wire fees typically involve both a component paid by the sender and by the recipient. The fee Bitstamp charges should cover the charges that their bank collect. How much you pay to receive the wire depends on your bank and you should contact them for that information.

yeah you right. i'm talking about the sender part. so you have successfully withdrawn fiat from bitstamp via intl wires.

really?? $15 to send an intl wire? that's impressive! many banks in the US charge $40 - $50 for sending intl wires.

thanks ..

I've not done withdrawals from Bitstamp myself, but since Bitstamp is located in Europe, wire transfers aren't as stupidly expensive as they are elsewhere.

The $40-$50 that US banks charge is borderline criminal.

anybody knows the total cost of a fiat withdrawal from bitstamp?

they mentioned a 0.09% fee (min $15) for wire transfers -- does this include wire transfer fees charged by banks? from what I was told, international wire usually costs $40 or more.

say, i need to withdraw $100 to my chase bank account in US, whats the overall fee i'd pay?

how about $10k?

appreciate it!
