LOL then that's sweet justice right there, no offence. Most sites, hosts and even CDNs like cloudflare are owned by Americans and they right away ban entire IP ranges from my country. So we are used to seeing these "prove you are human" pages. I guess now you know how it feels..

So bitstamp re directed me to encapsula front page or something, and it asked me to verify that I am human.  But the reason they said they were doing that was because I might have malware on my computer that set this off.

Is that the case or is it just ddos protection?  Did bitstamp detect something wrong with my computer that I am not aware of?

If your ISP assigns you a dynamic IP from a pool of IP addresses you may get wrongly flagged in this manner. So just enter the captcha and make do. The previous person who got the IP did something that got it flagged.

BTW which country are you in?
