So far baikal has lived on to their promise of adding algos. For digibyte fork there was some discussion in Feb: https://medium.com/@josiah_digibyte/digibyte-through-2018-wallets-algo-swap-and-why-you-dont-need-to-worry-about-a-fork-a22c407319d6

However I can't find any official reports of the fork since that article. Their assumptions in Feb doesn't hold now, especially "Right now the Foundation is still reviewing a number of options for new mining algorithms we can use, in particular things such as Equihash and CryptoNight stand out"

It isn't as simple as changing to an existing algorithm and calling it a day because bitmain and co proved asics can be made for asic resistant algos.

Why do you buy obsolete miner? Better invest into coins or wait for a new miners to come and be on a batch1.

This was emailed to me 5th june, i dont see the free shipping. So i doubt thats available. Baikal only accept usd so thats one benefit of this groupbuy. Bk x are still good value, they will add more algos eventually and most of its current algos do ok , unlike the giant b.
