Hi,

1) I deposited BEFORE they put that clausule up on not recovering BSV, they technically CAN recover it, but sons of bitches want to keep money to themselves. They got millions of USD that way only on BSV

2) I was not aware Kraken is doing it right way before I made a mistake.

3) I did not intensionally send BSV to ABC deposit address, I sued electron cash and it got sent automatically because both ABC and BSV do NOT have replay protection.

Hi,

I deposited 180BCH to Bittrex after latest BCH fork, and due to no replay protection in that chain, Bittrex received 180BSV(forked coin) to their deposit address, which they refuse to recover / credit for us. They intensionally made it that way because they knew that chain is vulnerable.

Other reputable exchanges, like Kraken, took extra measured and provided SAME deposit address for both BCH and BSH, so users would get both coins on their platform even if the other coin was sent by a mistake due to no replay protection on the chain.

I suspect they will cash our millions of dollars of customer funds this way. Their policy on this(last BSV part was added AFTER I and many others deposited) - https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000961172-Bittrex-s-Crosschain-Recovery-Policy

I have contacted several USA attorneys to assist with the case and waiting for replies. I will not let those half-retards at Bittrex have my money. If you know anyone who they defrauded that way let me know, they may be willing to join the lawsuit and reduce costs in total.

Also, if you hold any personal information about Bittrex owners like personal address or so, please let me know by PM and I am willing to reward such information or anything that can help me get my money back and put those retards where they belong.

Thanks

I don't know anything about this but if you already knew that Kraken would do something like what Bitrex did not do, why bother going to Bitrex? Something's not right there. Just my opinion though. Anyway, good luck with the lawsuit you're pursuing.
We do have our own choice and on this case he do love to make of Bittrex but eventually he do missed out that warning being linked above by Omega which i believe
lots of users do miss out that one and do possibly experience the same problem with op. If we do search up on which exchange can offer out much better than the other then we wont
really end up on Bittrex. -

There are cases where Bittrex is able to recover the coins if that worth a good amount of money ($5k-$25k). Since they charge to recover the lost coins. For example, someone sending a token to his ETH address on Bittrex. So perhaps your case could be included in?
They did have something about this on its support desk FAQ if you want to search about.

I would rather try to follow this way than contacting lawyers, spending money and energy

There are just some things that are not clear. Why did you send the money AFTER the fork, whereas the Bittrex statement said that only those who deposited a day before the fork would be granted the additional coins from the chain split? I mean, people don't receive the new coins if they do not possess the original one BEFORE the fork, right?

How is it not clear? He did the right thing by keeping his private keys to himself in the runup to the fork, and later send BCH to the exchange to either trade it or cash it out.

OP's mistake here is that he underestimated the consequences of an exchange not caring about the lack of replay protection, either intentionally or unintentionally.

It's once again a sign that people shouldn't be using an exchange as Bittrex. They hide themselves behind TOS they set up in advance, and there is seemingly nothing that can be done about it unfortunately. Stick to exchanges as Kraken and Binance, which seem to be the best hybrid exchanges in the game at this point.

Just like OmegaStarScream mentioned, they warned in advance that they will not help with recovering cross chain deposits. It's like sending ethereum to bitcoin address or something, the money's gone, no? Depositing your money after the fork was a risky decision. Did you send bch abc to bch sv address? Did you lose your bch or are you unhappy that you didn't get more money? Please elaborate more on the topic because strictly accusing such a reputable exchange of fraud.

They've made an announcement and they made it clear that they won't recover anything so that will make the statement you linked invalid.

To provide the best experience for our customers, Bittrex will take all reasonable steps to ensure that customer funds can be preserved on both chains. Bittrex will make all reasonable attempts to credit our users BSV chain split tokens. We will not recover incorrectly made cross chain deposits under any circumstance due to the lack of replay protection.

Whether this is done on purpose or not, is not possible to say but they have warned about it.
