No matter what country, they should return the funds and ban people from trading. They dont have any rights to pocket their crypto!!

many people are complaining and bittrex is still acting shady , so I guess that they don't care that much about their repu
IDK if a lawyer can help with that , but if you find it worth the try then go for it

Do not waste time after first support ticket.
Do your contacts with them with lawyer if you were ignored once.
Contacts with company's/exchanges should be always with lawyer after the first attempt to search your rights without result.
After few cases with lawyers, they will be more careful at their support tickets and how they serve the customers.
If they don't have enough people to run the support properly, then force them to hire.
You can't stand with excuses in 2017 year that there is to many support tickets open and being delayed for days or months for thousands dollars locked in accounts.
If they cannot handle their support system, they should either hire more people to help there or just shut down the exchange.
BTC-E was good example, seems like they want to follow it with that attitude.

Darn, if you do have perfectly fine identification and they're just asking you to confirm your identity again, then it is definitely their fault. There is absolutely no need for this if you already have confirmed your identity before.

Why don't you just confirm your id again, though? Do you not want to or something?

My old bittrex account used to be able to withdraw money without ID of any kind, now they're asking me for my personal details. I'm staying away for now.

I do not think this will work, you should hire a lawyer to solve your problem. do not limit yourself to social networks or forum
