I'd love to use it but since it's not an official app, I'll stick to the website. I think Bittrex is also developing its own official mobile app somewhere, which will be released soon.

Trading is really cool, I started trading today and it was really an interesting one, I like to use the Bittrex Trading App

Very interesting, but is it safe to use such kind of applications? I think that no. Anyone should understand that your login and password will be in someone else's hands.

The app dont even have favorite coins function to keep track of favorite coins's price at the same time. If you want to check price, you have to check one by one, lol.

I never put my trust in trading applications. It is developed based on the developer's knowledge, and that knowledge does not really surpass anyone. I can do better with my knowledge without the support of these applications.

Ive just subscribed the app, but there's something i think it's better for the app:
- Buy and sell: can you please make Total field, if you choose price and input Total, it auto caculate the amount of coins buy / sell. Input amount to buy / sell is really hard, even with support of MAX - 50% - 33% option ( I dont want to buy/sell at those amount!)
- Buy and sell: can you please show BTC / trading coin balances, so we can know how much coins we have to buy and sell?
- Show chart: can you make option show / not show chart? It load slowly, and we not need it everytime.
- Portfolio: I expected this function helps me trace down which coins in profit, which coins in loss (compare current price with buy price) , so i can sell or hold them. Can you please make this? Trace Total profit / loss of account is not really needed i think.
- Portfolio: it would be great if it show the current price, or % or curent price / buy price.
- Smooth: my Iphone5s running this app not really smooth, need some seconds to loading each time.
- Trial app or whatever: i think you should have trial app so people can try your pro functions before subscribe. I subscribed 1 month already, but im a little disappoint with those pro functions. To tell the trust, im using Tabtrader on Android to trade on Bittrex, it's free, fast and have almost of your functions. Im looking for good profit& loss function, but turn out its not like what i hope

Hello dev, I would also like to use such a program for android users for the bittrex currency exchange. Currently I use a computer for trading outside the home would be such an app used quite often.
It's wise to use a secure SSL connection for this mode of trading so good choice and I´ll be happy if you have time to create for android members.

Just downloaded this app and I'm trying before subscribing. I would like to ask whether I'm 100% safe even if the app is compromised when I have set up the API settings on bittrex to have only read and trade rights, and not withdraw.

dont need this app .. im ok with my mobile browser

I would still prefer trading on my pc. Trading app are just for monitoring your coins in one exchange which is not preferred by many traders that are trading many coins like me.

Worth having an App for monitoring trades but disabling withdrawals and possibly trading (Upto the user) as personally I prefer to just monitor the coins and work from desktop but useful when out and about keeping an eye on drops/rises.

Not atm, but will be done somewhere beginning next year.

i like this interface alot seems to be smooth. is there any development on the android side?

with a mobile view, it's clear and neat.
have you tested your application with UI and UX analysis or the usability testing to know what's pros and cons?

Great app by all standards.Following the same approach as the poloniex app, adding feature after feature and uploading every few days a new version, so users would see quick progress. Soon the update that included the trading feature was ready. Up until that time there was never a problem with Apple’s review process for the Apps. All updates were approved immediately.

we are working really hard to bring out new features. We update the app almost every two weeks.

As for now, Android is on the to-do list but we first need to have a stable iOS version and maybe add some new interesting features to it as well.

Bittrex is aware of the app and I personally talked to Bill Shihara (CEO of Bittrex) and have a meeting about the app within a few months.

You do not need to have the withdraw option enabled in your API settings, the API keys are not stored anywhere else outside of the app. All API requests are going over an SSL protocol.

People that are asking if the app is good in this topic, just download it on your iPhone or iPad, play with it and see for yourself. You don’t have to add your API keys in order to use the app. App store ratings don’t lie ;-)

Trading app on phone is a good idea, what features are available on this app? disable withdraw function is a good thing for new testers.
There are so many requests from android users as well to create android version trading app, but unfortunately Op don't update this thread regularly.
I would like try this app, but it seems Bittrex got so many complain from customers which claim their account disabled many verified accounts for no reason and Bittrex support didn't reply to their tickets. This problem is getting more complicated, and I prefer to hold myself from Bittrex for a while.

I had an android app which had a monthly fee, but it was giving some kind of API errors. Newly listed coins used to be added very late on the app. Does this have similar problems? How long have you been testing it?

i think you need to build another apps for android apps because if we compare the user which using iphone and android, there will be a big gap between iphone and android and if you want to reach more people, then you can build another version for the cellphone. actually i only use tabtrader to manage my time in trading and especially if i am not in home so i can always to check how much the price for each coins and in many exchanges. tabtrader have many downloader and the user is really satisfied to the apps.

Bitrex trading app is excellent. Ive been using it for about 6 months with no issue so far. They are trustworthy and everything is ok!

BIttrex does not have trading app, at least not officially from them

Also mobile web app will newer have such speed as native app could have.

I strongly disagree with you here. Trading apps can come in very handy. I for example use TabTrader, it supports multiple exchanges including bittrex and poloniex. And all you have to do to get started is generate an API with the appropriate permissions (for safety reasons I always turn of the withdrawal function). So you can essentially move around your fund without risking to lose them.

Looks cool, I'm still using the old app. this app is worth a try.

Why official app doesnt come? They make millions and as a IT person, I can say, that its really nothing hard to develop such kind of app. But I prefer not to trust 3rd party app.

I am quite skeptical when it comes to trading apps, but if it's security can be guaranteed, then I am good to go with it. An android version won't be a bad idea, by the way. Nice development.

Third party using API keys

You guys are absolutely right about that, all though the app only works with the Bittrex API keys without the withdraw option (unlike other programs)

What you are saying goes the same for the following apps:

• Password Apps
• FTP Apps
• Wallet Apps
• Email Apps

And all other apps which are relied on third party APIs.

I am the developer of the Stratis apps and not putting my name on the line here and willing to do a security source code check by a third party company.

If you know any reliable companies please let me know.

How you can guarantee safety? (password and API keys..)

I'm  not going to demotivate you on the work you have done on the APP but being someone who is inclined more towards application security,I will not touch your app with a 10 foot pole until the code is open-sourced.Infact,why wouldn't you wanted it to be open sourced ? Bittrex is a trusted source but not your app.All that we know about the inbuilt mechanism is what you described here.We need solid proofs,verifiable.

I am interested and always faithful to use the app to monitor the price of altcin and bitcoin. I use Ztrader and TabTrader. but i want a special app for bittrex. is there a link for android user ??

I have to be disagree there with you as mobile websites cannot give you extra's such as price alerts and extra trading options.

Does it interact with Bittrex ?

My point of view that no need trading apps.
Why? because mobile site looks like good.. site have all functions for trading.
It's better than apps. Also app is not safety for users.

After seven months of hard work, communicating back- and forward with Apple we can finally say that the (Bittrex) Trading app got approved!!

Security:

All API requests are made by an secure SSL connection, this will encrypt your API keys before it will be send over the internet. Your API credentials are stored locally and will never be stored anywhere else outside the app. After you set your API keys you will be asked to set a passcode. If you enter the wrong passcode three times the app will remove your API keys. You also don't need to enable withdraw function in the Bittrex API settings.
