Correct me if Im wrong but the new terms will be effective on March 9 (or 8?) as stated in the email so still you can withdraw your funds there as basic account.

If the basic account verification/match failed(it fails most of the times) for those who's account from "legacy" were turned down to "new" have to go through KYC procedure. he probably had tried to get his account upgraded to basic account but it failed, so op doesn't have any choice but to submit the ID(s).

Do not you want to give them your personal information or you just can not give them the information they ask? you may be underage and for this reason you may not be able to give them the information they want, however you have your money withheld on bittrex so you do not have a choice and you must also provide documents that conform to the name that you registered on bittrex.

I doubt if there is much option for you than to submit your information for enhanced verification. You probably will get scammed looking for a third party to help out in this case as I believe only bitrex can resolve the issue for you. If you are more concerned with identity theft once you provide your personal info, then be ready to have your 900 USD stuck in bitrex forever with no option of withdrawal.

As others (timerland) point out, when you use a centralised exchange, especially the likes of Bittrex and Poloniex, don't expect to never need to verify yourself. Even if it's not specifically laid out in their terms of use, they'll always reserve the right to change the rules at any time. Expect all exchanges to eventually require verification if they don't already. The exact reasons they'll use to require this may not always be legitimate, but that's besides the point.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, Bittrex used to allow basic verification that let you withdraw a small amount. Are you sure that's not at all possible now? I can't check now as my account is already enhanced and doesn't show the old options with limits. No one can help you here if you must verify (and no one should).

Lesson learnt: never deposit anything at any platform until you've successfully completed verification. Just don't give anyone any excuse to withhold your funds.

Without verifying your account you can't withdraw funds from your bittrex account.

If I'm not wrong now you don't have any other option to take out your money. They say you can withdraw up to some bitcoins without verification but after some time, they will block all the withdrawals until you verify the account.

Unfortunately, if you thought that you were able to withdraw funds from your bittrex account without being verified, you can't.

Even if you were previously able to do it, since you had a legacy account, it should be noted that bittrex has basically revoked every legacy account and made them so that they are the same account level as a brand new one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.25128763.

This actually happened last year.

You can't just say i'll get 90% of my funds withdrawn for no verification. Doesn't work like that unfortunately.

Poloniex doesn't tell you explicitly either. But yes they should both tell you first, on your deposit screen, that you will not be able to withdraw until you verify your account.

Actually this is mistake of bittrex, they should first announce that news and allow users who don't want to verify their identity to withdraw their funds like in poloniex. Bittrex is bad exchange.

What kind of help you do need? You need to verify your account or you won't be able to withdraw.

You could ask someone on your family to verify the account with his ID for you. Other than that, I don't think there is anything you can do.
