Hey all got a question.  To those of you who use bittrex and withdraw btc to your wallet whether its nano ledger, electrum or even another exchange, do you notice whenever you withdraw it, it shows as pending withdraw for a short while... then it shows as completed?  I previously withdrew btc from bittrex to my wallet and it doesn't take long for btc to show up in my wallet.  I also have withdraw another altcoin from bittrex and when it shows as completed, that altcoin shows up in my wallet or another exchange i use for example.

I recently did a withdraw from bittrex... and it showed as pending... then completed.  But the altcoin is not in my wallet.  Its been a short while already.  Has this happened to anyone with bittrex?  Example you withdraw say bitcoin or whatever altcoin like lisk etc to your wallet... it shows as completed.  But it still does not show up in your wallet?  If so, how long does it take?  Should i email bittrex about it?

If the transaction shows as pending... well then it make sense for it to take long.  But it shows as authorized and completed but its still not in my wallet?  If anything, this is my first time using this wallet for my altcoin but i know i downloaded the correct wallet as its from the official site.
Were you given transaction id? with that you can know if the token has arrived to your wallet or it's pending confirmation, that is the first thing you should do before writing a message to bittrex support.

You need to confirm if this transaction is on the blockchain network and be sure if the funds was withdrawn to your wallet without any mistake ! It’s very strange but give it some few days!

If the transaction is sent from bittrex you only have to wait confirmation on network to get it on wallet, but if you paste a wrong address or you have a virus and when paste give the attacker address then you lost bitcoin you withdraw.

Sorry I don’t get you, is it the same problem you posted on this link same day https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bittrex-withdraw-completed-but-not-in-wallet-5146268 or is this another issue because I really don’t know why you are having issues with all your transaction, if this is a different transaction you are talking about, I think you need to thoroughly check the address you sent to again and see if it didn’t change, if it change, then your account may have been hacked and you have a malware already working against your transactions. Otherwise, from the two links you have posted, I have not seen many reasons why your transactions should not have gone through.

Each of them all have their ways of operating, some of them goes through confirmation stage which they ought to inform you of this if they use this and I think virtually all blockchain transaction goes through confirmation.

I have some transactions that I have done in the time past, after I send a coin or token, I will get completed message which shows that the transaction has been processed and completed, but they will still require confirmation which sometimes takes minutes and some could take hours.

Maybe as a result of network jam, but I know after confirmation, you should get a received alert message, so you should be patient for a while, then if nothing happens within 2hrs, then it calls for alarm.

What you need to do is to check to block explorer to see what is the status of the coin or to confirm if the coin is really in your wallet, if you can find the coin on the block explorer in you wallet then it would definitely reflect once you have gotten some confirmation based on the wallet you are sending the coin to, some what needs just one confirmation for it to reflect why others needs up to 3 confirmation for it to reflect in your wallet.

I think it would be best if you could try to document what really transpired with regards to your withdrawal and contact support so that they can trace it and tell you what really happened since they have records on every transactions within and hopefully they would resolve it immediately or suggest any recommendations for a speedy recovery of your coins. Additionally, I also think the issue maybe within the coin's network and in this case you could try to contact the developers if the need arises.

Transactions in bittrex have never been as before, there may be delays or delays on the network. Have you contacted Bittrex? Because problems like this are not many people who experience, have never even experienced. I suggest you contact a bittrex service provider, so that you can get a solution to your problem as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your experience in terms of transactions.

Looks like you might send the coins to wrong address so you can't do anything by contacting the support team of bittrex.I am not sure about the coins you were talking about so someone who did used earlier might get the clear explanation about your issue and solutions if it is possible.

Check the address you sent to on blockchain explorer, if it is completed on bittrex it must be there. I never had issues with Bittrex of this kind so I believe the mistake you made is in address.

EDIT: So the coins were sent to testnet address. It will be difficult to recover them, if possible.

seems to me that you have sent your coins to a testnet address. It happened to a friend of mine with beam, on the early days...
The best thing to do is to search for their discord channel and have a chat with the devs, they might be able to help you to locate your coins
good luck

Hey all related to this.

So its possible to send coins to an address that is different and transaction gets accepted and coins get lost?  Can someone tell me what coins would that be going from one to another?

Example if you send ETH to a btc address, that would get rejected right?  But from what coin address to what coin address would it work where you can lose the coins?  I mean you can't send bitcoin to bitcoin cash and vice versa right?  I did hear someone mentioning if you send usdt to something, you can get screwed?
When you are sending ethereum to the bitcoin address and it will disappear because ethereum use the different algo than bitcoin. the network will not even consider it as a transaction and it will not get confirmed. that just like when have sent your ethereum to the bitcoin address like throwing your ether to the trashcan.
You can send bitcoin cash to the bitcoin address basically that bitcoin cash was forking from your bitcoin address.
When you have been sending bitcoin cash to the bitcoin address and it's possible to taking your money caused by both used the same privatekey. you can open your bitcoin private key in the bitcoin cash wallet and get your fund back.

I have never experienced anything like what you experienced,
but if i see your situation, maybe your funds still need confirmation from the wallet you are using,
or maybe because of heavy traffic so long it enters your wallet.
I suggest you contact support for bittrex and wallet that you use, and try sending another coin that has good speed for shipping.

I do use Bittrex and have never experience anything like this before, though the exchange is going through difficult patch but it is still one of the best exchange in the space, this is what I think would happen, check your address, maybe you input a wrong address and once you confirm this, there is nothing they would do but to process it

Someone says this has nothing to do with bittrex and everything is on shift now...

I mean the transaction is completed already.  So isn't this all on shift and bittrex has nothing to do with it?

I think you should contact support at bittrex exchange to get the fastest help. Usually, BTC trading takes a lot of time because the volume of transactions per day is too big.
I still trade on Bittrex now and I usually sell it to buy LTC, then I will withdraw to Coinbase. It will save much cost and time.

You should check the address received on Explorer.
If so, then surely you have received, only that address is in your storage device! Please double check

Is that testnet link i posted legit though?

Someone told me to go to shift on coinmarketcap and then type in that txid into it.  Then it showed over 200 confirmations.  But then i notice there was another explorer called testnet.  So you want me to enter the txid into that one?  Or should i wait?

Your link isn't working, please fix it so we can help you with.

If your problem doesn't resolve within the next 24 hours then perhaps you should contact their support and see why your token had stuck in the blockchain.

Otherwise, reach out to shift community and tell them what happened, I believe this time it isn't on bittrex side.

Shift is the coin.

The other thing i notice is this.

When i log into my shift nano wallet, it shows testnet.  That is the default for shift wallet.  I notice there is option of mainnet or custom node but i never changed it to that because i didn't know you could do this.

I typed in the txid into the shift explorer from the explorer on coinmarketcap... it shows over 200 confirmations.

However what is strange is when i type in shift testnet in google,

It shows

https://explorer.testnet.shift.shiftnrg.org

and

https://explorer/shiftnrg.org

I entered the txid into the 2nd one as that is the one shown on coinmarketcap.  But it shows the transaction as confirmed in the 2nd one.  So do i type it in the 1st link on google?

The thing is the shift address i have in my wallet, is the address that the shift was sent to.
You can try to type it in the testnet explorer but it will be much better for you to join and talk about the dev about the possibility to recover your amount. As far as i know there was a possibility to move your balance from the testnet to the mainnet consider about their are still at the same ecosystem. As long as it's not being sent to another blockchain and you have a chance.

It wasn't bitcoin but an altcoin.  I did put the txid in the explorer for that coin and there are over 200 confirmations.

The address is correct because it matches my address.

Anyone have a clue what is the reason for this?

You did not name the altcoin or it's algo so we can also check it, blockexplorer will never lie, once it confirmed it always shows up in your wallet, check if you really own that address, you must have supplied a wrong address on your withdrawal.

Pending means they haven't sent it yet.
Completed means they have boradcasted the transaction.
The transaction would be visible to your wallet only when it have 1 confirmation.
In the meantime, click on the hash given by bittrex and check whether your address and amount are correct or not.
If it's correct on the explorer wait. As exchanges use lower fees, it takes time.

I am using electrum wallet, and I have not experience anything like this.
If you can check in the blockchain and you see your transaction confirmed, it should be entered in your wallet balance.

Once it's already in the blockhain, you  it means Bittrex have already processed it, and they have no obligation anymore if that will not enter in your wallet.
