I don't think bittrex is awesome but I do think it much more trustworthy than Bter.

never had any problem with them, they are always fast, transferred some doge and was good and fast, besides the bug that don't show up your trade immediately

Bitstamp and other exchanges had the same problems or lets say had the same "excuse"

Bittrex could tell the truth but it could also be a indicator that they don't have that much btc in their hot wallet.
Transferring BTC from the cold to hot wallet takes time i think they are just a bit more careful then other exchanges.

It COULD be, but it's not. They are simply having problems with email. I use Google authenticator 2FA instead of email confirmations, and my withdrawals come through quickly.

Yes but one cannot even enable 2fa without receiving the confirmation email for that too, I faced this problem quite back and it made me suspicious and from they day I only use that site as a last resort For ex. I want to sell a coin which is only listed there.

i am wondering about bittrex withdrawals, they used to be very fast but my last btc attempts is taking hours to get confirmation email. did they change withdrawals policy? does it happen to you as well?

I have heard people not getting the confirmation emails. So might be a good idea to see their IRC channel and ask someone to fix

never had any problems with them.  you have the option for them to resend the confirmation email.  and you could message bittrex support. they will get back with you in a couple of hours from my experience.
