It always entertains me when we hear that people are being robbed when they clearly see the price on Bittylicious before buying, and at every stage of the purchase.

It used to happen when many Bitcoin price sites were compared against the Gox price - people would say, "I sent £100 of Bitcoins to my wallet but according to http:/some.bitcoin.price.site/ I only got £10 worth!"

I'm glad most of you agree - yes, Bittylicious is more expensive than most of the big exchanges, but its ease of use and service especially in GBP are what you pay for, essentially. We even have a frank wiki page at https://bittylicious.com/help/index.php/Why_do_Bitcoins_on_Bittylicious_cost_so_much%3F detailing why coins are 'so expensive'.

Iv used them a few times never had a problem, they are a bit expensive but when you think about it there probably one of the best places they don't ask for id and you don't have to send money through 3or 4 providers first

It's not robbing or theft when people willing pay that price. If you want cheaper coins just go to an exchange, but Bitty serves its place.

I think they are robbing they know that people will pay that amount so they will ask for more. I don't use them becasuse how high the fees are makes it not worth while to me.

Their prices are slightly higher than other places and for some payment mediums you'll pay a premium, but it tells you how many bitcoins you're getting for the cash so you should've known what you were getting.

Exactly.  I cannot understand the problem: the site shows exactly how many BTC you get for how much GBP.

For me the value of Bittylicious is precisely that there are no other fees - no need to convert GBP to USD, no deposit fees, no transaction fees, etc..  So for a small purchase it is perfect.

I bought £10 worth of bitcoins from Bittylicious but when it was sent to my wallet the amount was only £7.85 worth?

I sent an email and they say don't have a fee for using their buy service but they clearly take a cut?

For example the current exchange rate for £40.00 worth of bitcoins is 0.1019 but if I put £40.00 into Bittylicious it comes up with 0.09495 which is £37.29, as 0.1019 costs £42.92 from Bittylicious?

I don't mind a fee but 20% !? Most other services take just a few pence.  Angry  Huh

Bittylicious doesn't charge a transaction fee, but its price is higher. But it shouldn't be a 20% difference.
For comparison, at this moment, Bittylicious price is £421.24≈$705.5 whle Bitstamp price is $662.78.
