Nobody wants to hang on a sinking ship i guess, maybe they knew this lawsuit won't be easy for Ripple to get out of and even if they do, xrp won't be the same again, because as of now the price is seriously down and it looks like it will dip even more,
Unfortunately this happens at the worst time for ripple, I mean the when alts are about to witness a bull run like no other (hopefully).

Bitwise sells XRP holdings as Ripple faces a new lawsuit https://crypto.co/technology/bitwise-sells-xrp-holdings-as-ripple-faces-a-new-lawsuit/. What do you think about this move made by Bitwise? We can see that Ripple (XRP) is showing some recovery since yesterday, will it continue to not?

Some exchanges are not willing to take the risk, so they choose to delete XRP.
Did you know that some of the projects that have had cases with the SEC will be very hard to come back to, and the average project is dead.
I think what Bitwise is doing is a good move, and if Ripple can win against the SEC, I think all the exchanges will put XRP back in.

The recent recovery is simply because some people who trades XRP don't really have a clue about what's happening with XRP as of now. Some of them think of it as occasional dump and the right time to buy but facing lawsuit it's not gonna end well for XRP.
In my opinion, yesterday's recover is like baiting people into buying XRP lol which i definitely wont fall to.

so what...  the biggest holder of XRP is Ripple Company, they still own 50 Billion XRP left to dump and then there is Jed McCaleb who still has millions left to dump.  They never lose as they never paid a cent for these billions they hoard from the premine/IPO.  They knew what was coming and now they created a final pump to cash out big. now they can pay their fines with all the money they have scammed over the years manipulating markets, and then pack up and start a new project.

forget about people and crypto companies exiting, the biggest threat to XRP is the Ripple team cashing out.

This is really disappointing and this is the reason why a lot hate XRP because of its centralized nature and they can just cash out and leave. But creating a new one, I don't think people will trust them again. And more than likely, there will be more companies and XRP holders that will sell their coins before this will go down hard. I like XRP for transfer purposes because of cheap fee and they are present in a lot of exchanges. But with this SEC's threat and exchanges thinking of delisting this coin, their future is now hazy.

What recovery are you referring too? Ripple is being dumped even when the whole market is in green the only coin that is in red is Ripple. It is down by 3 percent today and it will remain like this because it falls under the category of shitcoins.

Yes, it recovered a bit but for me that will be the situation for the next couple of months until everything settles down.

What if this situation never settles down? what if SEC won against XRP? this means it's the end of XRP as a currency (as what they told us) and it's pretty obvious what's next, every crypto exchange would delist them and the price will surely pump and never recover.

Most likely that will be case, I'm not seeing XRP winning against SEC here. That's why as much as I want to be positive here, XRP might continue to be dump and as I have said, better get out, unless you really know what you're doing, riding the hype, squeeze some profits.

If by January we hear some reputable exchanges delisting XRP then there will be another set of dumping because of that news.

It seems that the XRP dumping will continue until it's gone for good.

Yesterday Bitstamp said taht they are going to halt XRP trading and deposits for all US customers on January 8, 2021. If we see a few more big names selling and another suit, XRP will go under ten cents for sure.

Yes, more US base exchange might halt XRP trading and deposits next year, Kraken or Coinbase? XRP will be done if this reputable exchanges stop the same way as Bitstamp.

If everything didn't settle down? then next year we might see XRP dumping hard, not creating FUD here, but every XRP investors should be wise, there is a lot of uncertainty, not sure how long the case will drag, could be months could be years. But you need to be smart and monitor everything and make the right decision.

That's the next thing for XRP. They will get a huge delisting in the entire history because of this situation. There is also a tendency that it won't no longer recover.
And this decision by bitwise is for them a better thing to do. They can make it or break it with XRP as an investment because of this but they choose to break it because it seems that they know what is the possible result. The said recovery is there but you can also see that recovery has been gone quick.

Showing a tiny recovery sign wouldn't stop investors and big XRP hodlers from selling the coins they have in their stash, thing is there will be more dump than pump for Ripple especially in the long run, people wouldn't be willing to take the risk of hanging on with XRP just cause it recovered a little yesterday, the fact still remains there's an existing lawsuit against them, one that could mean a lot before and after the verdict.

Having said that, I would honestly advice XRP holders to make a decision now they still can, if you still believe in the coin, you can buy back after the lawsuit is over and the verdict is good for XRP, but holding now is a folly if you ask me, one that could be costly.

We can't really judge Bitwise in their decision, I'm sure that had thought about it a millions times because they are a bagholder, but with the insurmountable case against XRP from SEC, for them it's better to get out while in profit, so it's a good decision.

Yes, it recovered a bit but for me that will be the situation for the next couple of months until everything settles down. We will see occasional pumps, it's good if you can join the hype and take profits from it.

As all expected after a massive FUD, that lawsuit drama is causing a lot of problems and may affect the XRP longterm price, currently, the price was pump from $0.25 cents yesterday to $0.34 cents today But I believe this current price won't stay for long because many whales XRP holders are starting to doubt about the XRP because of SEC lawsuit so in the next few weeks or months we expect more big news about this issue with US SEC and Ripple.
